Seemed more interested on the phone than when I was there. Totally turned a compliment around from + to -. Kept hinting around asking deliberately defeating questions about something she could easily have known by profession. Didn’t mean I didn’t feel bad.

Assumed I was a gay dude hitting on her son. I was in my mid-30s at the time, and had shoulder-length hair and a well-trimmed beard. He went back to his table after he got his drinks and I went back to my beer and watching my uncle play. Not long after, his cute 40-something mom slides up onto my stool alongside me, parking her perky little country girl booty right alongside mine.
Before I could even get a “hello” out, she whispered into my ear “my son’s not gay” and walked away.
Killed the mood right quick, she did.
She got a nipple piercing and i just feel like piercings ruin whatever body part they’re on(I have been desensitized to ear piercings so those don’t bother me).
We’re still friends, I’m just not interested in playing with her boobs anymore.
Cancelled a first date (with no rescheduling) and then expected me to buy her a takeaway to be delivered to her place.

On a vacant lot near her house, the State House Authority built a nice modern 3/4 bedroom house. As we drove past, she said, “There goes the land values. It will be full of ‘aussie racially derogatory word for POC’ soon”. Her two youngest kids were in the car. As we were in my car I went for a drive through her precious neighbourhood and showed her the filthy, untidy homes that were owned by her fellow white folks. As I worked for the city I knew the neighbourhood and knew the problem residents. I dropped her and the kids off and said “that’s it for me, we can go no further”.

Clearly I misread the date.
New York City for context, where owning a car is a nuisance. Otherwise I’d have picked her up and dropped her off myself.
I’d plan all our dates closer to where she lived so getting home would be easier for her, and I’d just bite the travel bullet. I paid for absolutely everything on the dates. Fine.
At the end of our third one—which went well—when it’s time to part ways, i ask how she’s getting home and she said “I’m ordering an Uber. Unless you want to pay for it.”
Never has my interest in a woman plummeted so fast! And no, before you say I blew it—it was not an invitation back to her place.
