Ugh, probably blindly following trends. Used to feel like I had to like or do whatever was popular, but honestly, it’s just tiring. So much better just to be myself.
I always loved going to Subway until they removed the oven roasted chicken subs and replaced them with rotisserie chicken. Subway will never get my money or support until they bring back oven roasted chicken subs.
There was a podcast that I really liked. Used to listen to it constantly. As it went on the host inserted some weird opinions and I started to form an image of him in my mind. When I finally saw a picture of him it was exactly like I imagined. I was totally done at that point.
Also any restaurant that gives shit service. Out of the 8 or so restaurants in town I refuse to go to 2 of them for any reason.
Idk if this counts for an answer but social media. Ive been off FB, SC, IG and Twitter for a while now and I don’t miss it. When someone calls me lame I shrug it off thinking how atleast I’m not wasting hours everyday learning about others’ whereabouts and feeling the need to share stuff of my own just to fit in or “be cool”
I refuse to support famous people ruining others’ lives just for fun. The greatest example: Ariana Grande having an affair with a married man and a brand new father 🙄🙄🙄 Her music and anything she does is banned in my house 🚫
I’m sad to say – I really loved the 1000 hours outside movement and had the app but then she started posting about RFK/anti-vaccine rhetoric and I was out.
She made a documentary and feminists protest it and try to get it banned https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WMuzhQXJoY there are also a few more ted talks from ex feminists on youtube
False accusations are at about 40%, women are doing way better in college compared to men because they changed how they operate, everything is labeled toxic masculinity so children arent doing well, most young males that are criminals were raised by single females, male suicide is much much more compared to female, much much more homeless men compared to women, children are given to moms over dads by default and they have to hire lawyers and spend $$ to even get partial custody, there are very few shelters for men compared to women
Women are more violent than men in relationships, but feminists hide this information, skew it, and call you mysognist if you even think it, feminists have attacked conferences about mens rights and they have attacked women who are equalists because they left feminism such as bettina arndt, cassie jaye, erin pizzey
The Pittsburgh Steelers did it for me when they stayed with Roethlisberger instead of biting the bullet and starting to rebuild. No offensive line help for the least mobile guy.
Businesses that don’t allow me to conceal a handgun. I go out of my way to go to a theater on the otherside of town because they are the only theater that allows it in my city. Too many damn active shooters nowawadays to be unarmed.
I plan to move away from USA-based companies.
Replace Windows with Linux, Google Search with whatever the DuckDuckGo is, Gmail with Proton etc.
Facebook will be hardest to replace, I will probably look over what my friends and family are using aside from it and try to popularise one of the options of group communication.
Why? Mostly Trump. Feeding info to government that could do me harm to USA didn’t feel as dangerous when they had someone rational at the head.
Giving money to an addict, even if they are very close to me. I’ve seen it go south one too many times. I will buy them anything they need and will feed them as much as they would like, but I will never put cash money in their hands.
I will never again support any form of ideological extremism. For many years, I was a staunch right-winger. Not to the point of shouting harsh slogans at people with different views—I never allowed myself to sink that low. I still lean toward sticking to strong moral principles and I’m still a religious man and a patriot, but in a way, I’ve “detached” from the far-right bubble.
What changed me was my teenage daughter, who is my whole world and who turned out to be a lesbian. That experience taught me humility and understanding. I support my daughter with all my heart in every part of her life, and the trust she showed me—coming out to me before her mother, which I see as a huge honor—was cleansing and eye-opening for me.
What changed in me?
For example, in my country, same-sex marriage isn’t legal, and if that doesn’t change by the time my daughter is an adult and she finds a girl she wants to share her life with, I’ll be the one driving them to the nearest country where they can get married, and I’ll proudly stand as a witness at their wedding, if they’ll have me.
Sending love to everyone, and just a little reminder—be careful with holding on too tightly to any beliefs. Life can surprise you when you least expect it 😉
Starbucks. I was never a big fan, even when I worked there for years. I’ve been hearing for a while now, from news and current employees how much is changed within the company’s culture. Which is fine, they got rid of my favorite items ages ago.

I refuse to support toxic relationships because they undermine my emotional well-being, hinder my growth, and more often than not, destroy me.
Anytime a store asks me to round up to donate to xyz charity, I decline. I’m not contributing to your tax break. Saves probably $50/yr.

I support videos of mama kitties and their widdle weenie tiny babies.
Buck Angel and Target for the same reason. Neither support folks like me.

US companies. Because Trump.
People’s word. I’ll only believe in action and take their words for just that.
A business whose owner gives off a bad vibe. Mostly subjective of course, but I’ve finally learned to trust my judgement on these matters
Any MAGA-owned business or restaurant.
501c3 orgs. bandaid for harm done by the exploiting class. It’s direct microlocal aid only from here on out.
Tipping people who exert the same amount of energy I do in the same transaction ex: handing me a cup of coffee and me taking it.
League of legend skins, riot is taking the piss
New York Times. I still trust the accuracy of their reporting, but not their lack of bias.

Chik Fil A and JK Rowling because of their anti LGBTQ actions

You asked for this shit. Now deal with it like the rest of us.
Fuckboys and the female equivalent of
