I have some PTO coming up, first day in a Thursday, and come back to work on a Tuesday. I thought of traveling but I don’t have any ideas about someplace affordable or where I won’t feel like a weird guy by myself. Well, more than usual.
I keep bouncing between a visiting somewhere still within the states or maybe a staycation somewhere in my own state.
Any ideas?

You could go to Nashville, Austin, or Vegas and walk around and people watch. Or go to a beach by yourself! Or go to the top of a really tall mountain!
Might be useful to explicitly let us know where “in my own state” is.
I actually just booked a 3 night, 4 day solo trip. Going to go to a PGA tour event. Booked a nice hotel as well. Pretty excited! Don’t feel weird about it and go have fun!
Pick a city, any major metropolitan area will do, spend time being a “tourist” and visit attractions and events.
If you’re self conscious about people asking why you’re alone, tell them a white lie “I’m on business and I’m trying to get out of my hotel room”
Additionally, every restaurant has “bar seating” where you can sit alone without drawing any attention.
