What would you do if every lie you ever told was recorded and could be played back at any time?

Honestly? First step: go completely still, stare into the void for 3 to 5 minutes, and feel the full weight of every “Yeah, I’m five minutes away” and “Of course I read the terms and conditions.”

    But after that? Weirdly freeing.

If every lie I’ve ever told could be played back, a few things would happen:

    • I’d have to own the white lies. The “I’m fine” when I wasn’t. The “I love it” when I didn’t. The “sorry I missed your message” when I absolutely saw it and ghosted.
    • Some people would be hurt. Some would laugh. A few would say “I knew it.”
    • But the truth is, most people would realize they’ve done the exact same thing.

The real nightmare isn’t the playback. It’s being defined by it. But if it was all on the table? At least you’re done performing.

Honestly, it might even clean out your life a bit. Anyone who can’t handle the full reel probably wasn’t someone you could be fully real with anyway.

But let’s be honest—you’d watch someone else’s playback too, right? Whose would you want queued up first?
