I’m trying to get into astrology and learn about things like natal charts and planetary influences. I started with one service’s free trial, hoping for clear, beginner-friendly lessons, but it was a total letdown. The horoscopes were so generic I could’ve found better ones for free online, and their “expert” guides were just fluffy paragraphs with no real explanations like, nothing about how to actually read a chart. I’m still excited about astrology but don’t want to waste time on another dud. Has anyone found a solid platform or resource that’s legit and teaches astrology in a practical way for someone just starting out? I’d really appreciate any suggestions.
What’s a good astrology platform for beginners after Nebula astrology let me down?

OP, there is a reason that a service that seemed good turned out to just be fluff and a letdown. There is no actual science behind astrology.
All of these websites just pray on naïve idiots who see “Oh! This horoscope is grumpy at times, that is so me!” and dont realise that they are intentionally insanely generic so that they can apply to literally everyone.
Congrats on being smart enough to recognise a scam!
a lot of astrology platforms are just repackaged fluff to hook you. I’d avoid anything promising expert guides unless you can verify the astrologer’s credentials. Try The Astrology Podcast it’s free on Spotify
For learning more, I got “Astrology for Yourself” by Demetra George, and it’s been a game-changer for understanding aspects. Don’t give up, you’ll find something awesome
I got hooked on astrology last year after a similar flop with an app – same vague nonsense you’re talking about. What worked for me was joining r/astrology here on Reddit. They’ve got a beginner FAQ with links to free chart tools like Astro-Seek, and people answer questions fast if you’re confused. Also, check out The Astrology Hub on YouTube – they have free videos labeled “Astrology 101” that walk you through chart basics like aspects
Forget astrology go learn about yourself with some Allan Watts philosophy lectures and find out who you really are. Trust me it’s worth it.
It’s all a scam. Save your time energy and money.

Im not going to dog on you with all the it isn’t real stuff, because I think it can be interesting!
I suggest buying “The Only Astrology Book Youll Ever Need” by Joanne Martine Woolfolk.
I got this back in the 90s, and loved every page. She teaches you how to chart, what specific things mean etc. I still have my copy, and my teenager got into reading it & doing charts as well. Its fun!
