put on some chill music, like a lofi playlist, cool jazz, or some calming asmr (me personally, i listen to rain or beach waves, or even music that’s meant to lull babies to sleep) and it makes me feel very relaxed.
Tea steeped just right and consumed at the perfect temperature. It doesn’t happen with every cup, yet when it does it’s wonderful. It has to be when it doesn’t scold my tongue, yet the warmth seeps into my gullet and leaves a radiance in the pit of my stomach.
I hate the nonsensical rituals people use and attempt to ply onto others. If I’m not at ease then there’s a reason behind that. The mood has to run it’s course or else everything gets worse. The reason why the tea works is because I can’t induce it. No two cups produce the same result.
