Surprisingly it’s from a movie soundtrack: Final One by Haruka Nakamura.
If you have not seen the movie it’s from, it’s called Look Back, it’s on Amazon Prime, it’s unbearably sad (particularly the scene this song plays in), but it’s one of the best animated movies I have ever seen. Shout out to the people who have seen this movie or read the manga its based off.
I miss my friend by Daryl Worley. It describes my ex pretty well and she was my best friend as much as she was my gf. I miss those blue green eyes and the color she brought into my life
For me, too many to name. Music has a super strong presence with me. Some songs can bring me back to the exact moment that registers the feelings. It’s a lot to handle some times. I have 3 sisters and I am absolutely the most emotional and I’m a man. 🤷
We’ll meet again makes me cry because it always reminds me of my late cat that has been with our family for 8 years. 🎶 “We’ll meet again, don’t know where, don’t know when. But I know we’ll meet again some sunny day.”
Brandy ‘have you ever loved some one’ is the one that fucks me up every time , and I m considered a gangster by the police in my city but I get misty eyed when that shut comes on
Flicker by Niall Horan. It always made me emotional, but when my husband was seriously ill in hospital and we weren’t sure he was going to make it, I found the lyrics played in my head a lot.
“He said, Patches
I’m dependin’ on you, son
To pull the family through
My son, it’s all left up to you
Two days later Papa passed away, and
I became a man that day
So I told Mama I was gonna quit school, but
She said that was Daddy’s strictest rule
“So ev’ry mornin’ ‘fore I went to school
I fed the chickens and I chopped wood too
Sometimes I felt that I couldn’t go on
I wanted to leave, just run away from home
But I would remember what my daddy said
With tears in his eyes on his dyin’ bed
“He said, Patches
I’m dependin’ on you, son
I tried to do my best
It’s up to you to do the rest”

‘Firework’ -Katy Perry. I get teary when this song gets played, this song was the song played at my 18 year old cousins funeral as she was leaving the church for the last time.
