I have an issue with the fact that most people are authoritarians. Nearly everyone, democrat and republican, left and right, just seems so eager to use the state to bludgeon others into submission, even over the most absurd trivial things. Want to wash someone else’s hair for money? Better get a license, or you belong in JAIL.

It’s particularly absurd how many things are perfectly legal to give away but illegal to sell. As if someone suddenly loses their capacity to judge things when they are asked to pay for them.

    Abortion.

It is not black and white and people need to understand how necessary they can be. It pisses me off when people only think of the women who “want” to get an abortion. Some women HAVE TO have them, and they’re not happy about it. Stop making women feel worse about their situation by flapping your dumb lips.

Why folks seem just fine with coyotes running around but insist that dogs should be leashed and given rabies and distemper shots.

In the eastern US coyotes are an invasive species and while I like that they eat squirrels I’m not really thrilled with them in general.

People think automation is a bad thing. If humanity spent the next 10-20 years fully automating every job via AI, robotics and machinery, humans wouldn’t have to work anymore. We wouldn’t have to pay to exist. Since most people are too small brained to even think of existence any other way than we do currently it’ll never happen.
