Ive got tungsten carbide inserts on the saw on my wood processor. Sure is nice to not have to sharpen the thing multiple times a day like when I had a chainsaw bar on there.
I bought one years ago and handing it to someone for the first time is always magical. Mine is 1kg and it’s so tiny. I also have an aluminum cube that’s roughly the same size and a copper one. Differences in metal density are interesting.
I bought mine for like 75% off because there was a super tiny chip out of one corner, it’s almost impossible to see unless you know where to look. Try to find one like that because they can be expensive.

What’s a tungsten cube? As a welder I have lots of little tungsten cylinders but they don’t really provide happiness.
I own a couple tungsten bucking bars, and they’re the best

This is like the material sciences equivalent of Rome.
Life changing
One day you’re just some Joe Schmoe
And then you become “Joe Schmoe with the tungsten cube”. Will never look at life the same ever again
