German. I’m really bad at learning other languages. Took a year of it in high school, studied on my own and also lived in Germany for a while and have studied it even more since moving back to the states, and I’m just not very good at it. But I’d like to move back there some day and it would be nice to have.
Welsh. Moved here recently, trying to learn but my lord I’m struggling with the speed people talk. Think I need to pay Dysgu Cymraeg and go on an intensive course or something.
I learned a pretty good level of Spanish without much trouble, so maybe I’m just old now.
Not just one tho hehe. Spanish because our historical records during 1600s-1800s in my country were written in Spanish. Koine Greek, Arabic, and Hebrew for scriptures and maybe international relations. And Irish for just random Tuesday 😂.
Ukrainian. My stepfamliy is from there, and they used to talk shit and laugh at me across the room. I think I ended up figuring out one of the words my stepsister used. She called her mother a whore at least twice a day if I figured it out correctly
Haha, nah for real – Cantonese.
One of my best friends is Hong Kongese, and I’ve visited Hong Kong a couple of times and loved it. Don’t think I could live there, I feel like big city life isn’t something I’d wanna deal with day-to-day.
Been trying to learn to speak the lingo for years and only really got a few basic phrases.
I can speak it somewhat, but I just don’t improve. Would be really beneficial, because my bf is half-French and it would also be useful in my future career

I am fluent in Spanish and English was so easy to learn.

I’d love to learn German, I think it’s an awesome language. I already speak English and Macedonian, so German would be quite different from those. I know basic phrases, but to be able to go to Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and speak German fluently with locals would be great.
I know that this is a cop out answer. On my part, but it is the truth. I’ve always wanted to know every language. I’m not linguistic in any way, however. I wish I was
