What’s one piece of advice you wish someone gave you before turning 25?

r/

I recently turned 22, and I feel like I’m in that in-between stage not a teenager anymore, but still figuring out what being an adult really means.

To those who’ve crossed that mid-20s mark: What’s something you wish you knew before turning 25? Could be about career, relationships, confidence, money, mindset anything that helped you level up.
Dropping some knowledge here could really help those of us still finding our footing

Don’t waste time trying to make a deeply flawed relationship work. Be with someone who is already the person you want them to be. Don’t stick around trying to fix someone just because you have feelings for them.

I wish I knew how not to behave like a child and was able to navigate adult life easier. I don’t think it was my fault I wasn’t able to, this culture doesn’t make it easy to adapt. There’s no initiation to becoming an adult, you just turn 18 and that’s that.
