Mcdonalds for kids. Has a similar warning as cigarettes citing concerns over reproductive harm and cancer from a chemical i believe is acrylamide. Why could I eat this legally all my life, but I can’t smoke nicotine for another year.
Honestly, double standards when it comes to drugs.
Society judges and treats me like shit because I…dont like drinking poison, and would prefer to smoke a different poison. Either legalize recreation or dont make up ypur god damned mind
Tow Trucks. Seriously. I got into an accident two years ago and, being that I was dazed from having my head forcibly bounced off of an airbag, I just allowed the tow truck that the sheriff on-site had called to tow my car to their lot. My car was towed, I was picked up by my partner off the side of the road and by the time we made it to the tow lot it was closed. It was Friday… it was closed on weekends, but when I called they said they’d “open it” for me if I paid $400 extra. Disgusting, hell no. The next Monday I paid over $450 for the tow and the storage fee. The storage fee was $300 for keeping it for 3 nights, which I had no decision in. Oh, and my car was totaled. There was a fee to SURRENDER the car to the lot (what am I going to do with 3000lbs of scrap metal). All of my experiences with towing (excluding AAA services) have been negative. Seriously, they need to be more closely regulated. They take more from people that are already at a low point, especially at ACCIDENT SCENES. They have no empathy and the business model as a whole is predatory.
Buying weed from a government store. It’s been legal here for 6 or 7 years now but I still feel like I’m walking into a sting operation every time I walk into a dispensary. It’s awesome.
Honestly, double standards when it comes to drugs.

Being allowed to run a whole country without taking a drug test.
If you want to be a truck driver you have to take an observed drug screen before you’re given a commercial driver’s license and you’re FEDERALLY required to take random drug screens as long as you are employed with a trucking company. If you get in a crash, no matter how minor, drug screen.
ALL elected officials and their appointed teams that are at high level government positions should have to pass drug tests too.
I always feel like drinking and skiing would never fly if down hill ski resorts were invented today. Like how is it legal to sell lift tickets for a high speed extreme sport AND serve alcohol to them. Bars at the top of the mountain, skiing through crowds of people including children.
Actually just being able to own an assault rifle. Every day in this country is randomized Russian roulette, Some loser has a bad day and someone’s life is forever ruined.
The way society picks and chooses what is considered a adult. You can consent at as young as 16 but you can’t smoke until 21, also anyone over the age of 12 is a adult when eating out.
How is it littering if someone throws a paper wrapper on the ground in the parking lot?
Why is it not littering x 200 when the shitty pizza shop puts fliers on everyone’s car that just fall onto the ground, or on our home doors?
JUNK MAIL
It’s literal trash, I dont want it and you forced it into my possession. I’ll get in trouble if I dont dispose of it properly, and I’d get in trouble just putting it on my neighbors porch… So what the fuck? Stop forcing wasteful trash on me.
Forcing employees to be Harassing customers at the till every single time they check someone out to sign up for the store credit card! It’s predatory and creates a toxic work environment for the poor employees who are harassed daily about it.
Insurance companies not paying grand out, ha ing to be sued to pay out, and then dropping the customer if they pay out. The whole of insurance is such a scam. I pay in for years with zero issues, and then when something bad happens and I need them, they ha e every reason on earth not to give me my money back.
If I could make anything happen, it would be that “For all outstanding loans where the principle amount has already been paid, that loan shall be forgiven.”
Here in germany when you retire you get money from the insurance you pay for your whole working life. If you retire you get this money monthly. They pay taxes on that. So basically you pay taxes on money you already payed taxes on. THAT should be illegal
Having sex with a legal adult that’s 18-19 or in their early 20s. The older I get, the longer after 18 just seems still creepy and more “kid” than “adult”.
Congress and the President being allowed to invest in individual stocks, and the Supreme Court being allowed to accept gifts of any type above the de minimis level. Disgusting.
Companies being able to store, use, or sell personal information about people really needs more scrutiny. People should be the sole owner of their personal information. Companies should only be able to store your data for limited time and have much stricter control about who they can share anything with. Some countries have better laws and enforcement about this, but in the U.S. we’re headed for full dystopia as far as this goes.
There are no laws against emotional abuse of children in my state. The law also says that acts of physical abuse of children are permitted so long as the physical abuse is “moderate”.
intentionally spreading misinformation should be a crime, news outlets stretch or completely fabricate the truth more times than I can count as well as inflating real life issues that aren’t actually that big of a problem. illegal immigration isn’t a problem when more than half the country can’t even afford a house
You can rent out a house, and then sell that house with the tenants still in it, and the new buyer is 100% legally allowed to just kick them all out and move in.
Seems to me that you should only legally be allowed to sell a rental once it’s vacant.
Going to the hardware store and buying a chainsaw with a three-foot blade, walking out of there, and you don’t even have to sign anything to say you know how to use it
