That experiences and knowledge aren’t universal.

So what one person may or may not know or experienced, they are shocked that other people know differently.

That 80% of your happiness is your attitude not what actually happens to you

Most cis women get off primarily or exclusively from clit stimulation, for the same reason that most cis men get off primarily or exclusively from dick stimulation (the two body parts are formed from the same tissues in utero and play the same central role in pleasure and orgasm).

Emotional accountability. Like : being able to say “I hurt you, I was wrong, I’m sorry” without making excuses, shifting blame, or pretending it didn’t happen. It’s such a simple but powerful skill that makes relationships, friendships, and even work life healthier… yet so many people seem to skip that part.

I’d also say basic conflict resolution ; knowing how to calmly disagree, listen, and not turn every issue into a battlefield.

I think I was 30 or 31 when I finally realised that you’re not supposed to put whole/unpeeled onions in the fridge if you think they’re going a bit funny… 🙃 That was pretty shocking to Mr. Burrrito.

If you have not started saving seriously for retirement by now you are really going to regret it come later in life when you are having to either save a ton more, work longer, or live on substantial less.

How to cook. What you need to be healthy, i.e. Eating vegetables, exercise, not sit on the couch and watch TV all day. How to be emotionally mature. Considering how your actions effect other people, whether in social settings, driving, walking through a public area, eta. How to verify information for accuracy. How to think for yourself.

that being a good person always pays off in the end

defend yourself – absolutely – yes

butttt – don’t hurt people just because they hurt you

    2 things:

    1. hurt people hurt people so if you hurt someone then you’re giving away your power by letting someone know that they had that affect on you; control over YOUR emotions

    2. when you do more good than harm then you keep elevating and elevating more and more – so you’re basking in your light and positive goodness as you keep climbing higher and higher whereas others are sitting in bottom barrel energy — stewing in unresolved anger or a deflatable ego 🎈📌

That not all wheelchair users are unable to walk.

Some people have dynamic disabilities, which means they have some able-bodied days and some more disabled days. Some people can technically walk, but doing so would force them to be completely bedridden for days or weeks afterwards. Just let them live, goddamn! They’re not faking it for attention

Financial responsibility. I know it’s not true for everyone so don’t come at me-but I know so many friends who are in So Much Debt and still booking vacations on the regular. And not student loan debt-just general credit card and bank loan debt. They don’t live within their means, perfectly acceptable middle class means-spending on so many frivolous things and still complaining they have no money.
