People who whinge about Movie/TV adaptations that are not 100% faithful to the source material.
A prime example of this is the Wheel of Time TV show. On the whole the fanbase of the original book series have been throwing collective internet hissy fits over the TV show making changes to the books at a level unheard of even in geek culture.
The thing that makes this example especially pathetic though is that anyone who has read the Wheel of Time books will know that the overarching theme of the entire series is that the same story is told over and over again but with different specifics each time. So the TV show telling the same story but with different specifics is EXACTLY fitting for the theme of the books.
Immigrants. Celebrities.
Pretty much everything right now.
TV/ Film casting choices – particularly by the BBC
The personal preferences/ lifestyle/ hair colour of under 0.5% of the population
Tons of news stories and events that simply did not happen but were reported on twitter, thus the bottom 20% of society raged anyway
The Beckhams/ Markles/ TOWIE cast personal lives
Having to click an article to read it, as opposed to needing someone in the comments to save me 2-3 precious seconds
