Whenever you feel hungry between meals, have a glass of water first. Usually that deals with the craving. If it doesn’t, I let myself have a snack, but it has really cut down on my snacking and made it much easier for me to stick to my dietary goals.
When i wake up in the morning I try to think of a few things im thankful for, could be really small things. It helps start the day with a positive attitude.
Memorise as much as possible. Don’t use apps, calendars, spell checks, and other stuff that degrades your memory. Don’t use driving aids. Do as much yourself as possible
Standing on one foot while brushing my teeth. It was recommended by a dentist friend since it shouldn’t really interfere with brushing even if you are bad at multitasking. I have been doing it for a while now and some of my ankle issues when running have gone away.
Whatever it is, we tend to put it off and let it build up – hate the dishes? They’re still there the next day. Hate folding laundry? You can definitely live straight out of the dryer. Sweeping, mopping, making your bed, cleaning the shower/tub/toilet/etc – whatever is it, just do it every day and it’s not a big deal.
Dishes are my least favorite thing in the world. Folding laundry #2. I hand wash all of my dishes immediately when I’m done eating and laundry goes back in the basket the first time I open the dryer and folded immediately. I tend to run several small loads a week which makes it even easier.
Assume best case scenarios. Ie. If someone cuts you off while driving, say “I hope everything’s okay and they aren’t rushing to the ER or something.” You aren’t going to talk to that person so why let it get you upset when there is always the possibility that they may be having an emergency. This keeps my heart protected.
Also, your morning starts the night before. If mornings aren’t your thing, do everything you can the night before, have your clothes laid out, you lunch packed, your water bottle filled and in the fridge, bag packed and sitting by the door, etc.

Sticking to a sleep schedule. Bed by 930, up at 5. Doesn’t matter what day of the week or if it’s a holiday. Get good sleep, get up, get after it.
Schadenfreude.
