stop measuring your worth by how productive, happy, or “fixed” you are. healing isn’t linear. some days just surviving is more than enough.

and please — talk to someone. a friend, a stranger, a therapist, anyone. you’re not a burden. your pain deserves space, and so do you.

it’s not about loving yourself overnight. it’s about learning not to hate yourself for feeling broken.

you matter, even when you don’t feel like you do.

You do not have to achieve something or do something productive each and every day. Stop putting that pressure onto yourself and focus on what would make you enjoy this day and do that. Its okay to have lazy days. Its okay to have chill days. Allow yourself to be able to relax

It probably didn’t take a week or a few days to become depressed, so unwinding it will equally NOT take a few days or a week. It’s a maintenance program, make a plan, stick to it. Something small every day… a load of laundry, texting someone “Hi, no need to respond, just thought about you and hope you’re well.” Eating one meal that is good fuel for your brain, heart, and gut. Take it slow – DO NOT let perfection be the enemy of progress. And lastly, take inventory on how you speak to yourself, most times we say the most vile things about ourselves.
