You can also answer if it did kill the friendship. I just wanna know how powerful male friendships can be.
What’s the biggest argument you got in with your best friend that didn’t ruin the friendship?

About a girl he was dating in college.. she was making eyes with everyone, but he was in love.she got handsy with another guy and he absolutely didn’t believe us.
Honestly I can’t name any major issues with my best friend. I’ve known him for almost 20 years and the vibe is always good. We just follow the basic rules that prevent the most common drama (don’t date the same girl, don’t make the other look bad in front of women).
I guess the one that comes to mind is when he and I made a pact in high school that if either of us broke up with our respective girlfriends, we would also cut off the friendship. (We were all 4 pretty close)
Well, I broke up and he decided it didn’t count since he knew her before I did. 17 year old me did NOT agree and cut off the friendship.
But by 20 I realized how absolutely ridiculous that was. We made up and were friends for 20 more years. (I mean i guess we still are but we haven’t spoken in about 3)
Disagreeing about the Monty Hall problem
A ex-friend threatened my cousin because my cousin called him out for inappropriate behavior at a party. I told our mutual friend that he crossed the line and I was all-set on that friendship. He basically, said, “Well it didn’t happen to me so I don’t see any reason for me to stop being friends with [ex-friend]”. I lost it on him and basically told him that his response was unacceptable and that I was all set on him as well. We didn’t speak for like 2 weeks and when we did, he saw where I was coming from and apologized for how insensitive his response was. That situation may have strengthened our friendship honestly
I’ve been friends for over 20 years. He’s an Arsenal fan, 20 years straight, no league title yet, and I can not convince him he’s supporting a small club
