Deja vu moments that actually mind fucked me for days on end. Because of how many I’ve had I believe this life is a simulation.
Years ago, when I was in high school, I was falling asleep one night. I heard my cat walk into the room and it jumped up on the bed to fall asleep. I was almost asleep, when I felt the cat circling my legs to make itself comfortable. The cat kept circling my legs and wouldn’t lay down, so I tried to lean forward so I could push it down. When I tried to lean forward it felt like I was being held down in my bed. I pushed through the force and went to touch my cat, but my cat wasn’t even there. I told my sister the next morning and she said the exact same thing happened to her at the exact same time. The kicker is that we are fraternal twins. When I told this story to a coworker years later, he called it a “witch’s seat.”
I’ve had two very weird experiences
the first one was as a kid holidaying with my family in majorca (we’re from the UK). we go to a random bar and bump into our neighbours
the second experience was a few years ago. I was sat at a small train station in the middle of nowhere browsing some political posts on twitter. one of them was by a journalist called ash sarkar. I walked into the main building at the station and who walks by me? ash sarkar
I genuinely haven’t experienced anything remarkable like these other stories and now I’m sad 🙁
There was this one week, where I got so busy with work, I started to see reality bend. Like, I saw cars, fences, and street signs, bend in weird directions 😵💫
I’ve had two dads (Dad and Step-dad) commit suicide. I moved to a new city at some point not knowing anyone and literally the first guy I met when I got to town had also had two dads (Dad and Step-dad) kill themselves. To this day I’ve never met anyone else that this has happened to me
PTSD.
Had visions and smells that were horrible
Had to bring my dog to an ER Tuesday night and half way through while we were crying out eyes out I had the weirdest feeling of deja vu. He was my first dog so idk wtf that was about.
I dropped my keys – heard them hit the ground – immediately bent down to pick them up, they weren’t there. They simply vanished off the face of the earth.
When I first saw the movie “Saving Private Ryan” in a theater, I cried during the scene when the medic was shot up and bleeding out. I was never in the military, never seen battle. I have no idea why that affected me so much.
I was driving on a dark country road late at night and suddenly a police car appeared behind me with the signal lights flashing but no siren. I slowed to pull over, but the car just drove off and left my line of sight over the far side of a hill. I was only about 10 seconds behind, but when I crested the hill, even though the road continued straight for several miles and there were no turn-offs anytime soon, I saw no sign anywhere of the car.
There probably is a very mundane explanation, but I was a little freaked out at the time.
