I once decided to make a popsicle stick picture frame with my kids (which already sounds like a recipe for disaster). Somehow, while using the hot glue gun, I managed to drip molten glue right onto the back of my hand. Funnily enough, my kid was like, “Dad, that’s not how you make a bracelet!” And I laughed so hard that I dropped more glue on my other hand. So I’m standing there, trying not to curse in front of the kids, with a string of glue between my hands like I’m starting a weird new hand-tied trend. At least the kids got a good laugh, and my hands will never forget our little art project adventure… Wow, just thinking about how clumsy I can be sometimes makes me smile and wince at the same time.
