What’s the normal range of shoe sizes in a shoe store?

r/

In an ordinary shoe store, what range of shoes do they ordinarily stock? What’s the smallest, what’s the largest?

Adult sizes, please. Tnx.

Probably 8-14. I haven’t bought shoes from a physical store since i was in high school, though, never could find a place that had 15 and 16 on hand.

Uhhh. Normally a lot of the kids range.

Women’s you might see a 5 up to 10 or 11? if you’re lucky. I dunno dude I just look for my shoe size and don’t really pay attention past that.

    I don’t order men’s sizes so can’t help there.

    In women’s sizes, it’s usually a US 5 to US 11 or 12. That’s like 36 to 43 or so.

Shoe stores usually have infants to men’s sizes, so the smallest would be a baby shoe and the largest would be a men’s 13, maybe 14. I think a men’s 14 is equivalent to a 49?

Men’s sizes, a decent store will have about 6-14. That can change though depending on style and specific store.

It depends on the type of shoes. Athletic shoe stores will usually go to at least 14, sometimes 15 in several styles. Other types of shoes, you are lucky to have one or two 13’s. They usually top off at 12 for most styles.

I’m US women’s (adult) size 5.5. Most smaller store’s smallest size is 6, which I can sometimes wear. Larger stores, department stores, big box stores, etc. might order as small as a 5, but they probably ordered one or two pairs in 5 and 5.5. The good news is that since so few people have feet as small as mine they often get marked down in price to get them out the door. The bad news is that since they only have a few pairs in my size, I’m SOL when those are gone. I was at a very high end shoe store once and was told that despite having two dozen or more styles in multiple colors the only ones they had in my size were one style (sadly/thankfully, not sure, not one of the ones I liked) in black or beige.
