Reddit 100%. Even discussions that have nothing to do with politics eventually devolve into politics. I’m so sick of reading about it. Someone needs to make a browser extension that filters out anything even remotely politics related
Reddit. Instagram close second. They’re well built platforms that sell engagement in the form of division and hate.
If you want a good time, check both right leaning and far leaning subreddits from time to time. They’re both ecochambers convinced “the other side” wants them disenfranchised or dead.
Now try engaging in a conversation with a neighbor that has views that aren’t the same as yours. I don’t mean dive into politics right out of the gate like an unhinged perma-online person, I mean just say hello. 9 times out of 10, it’s a pleasant conversation.
In my experience, online interaction is not a reflection of real life. It’s a galvanized ecochamber where ad revenue thrives on chaos and anger.
Fuck these dickheads for trying to pull us apart. Eat the rich.
The alarm clock. How does it not have an option to turn off an alarm for the next day, without permanently turning it off? For example, any time there’s a holiday on a Monday, I turn off the alarm, but then have to remember to turn it back on for the next day. Also, how doesn’t it have an option to customize the length of the snooze?
Both of those apps are absolutely insane echo chambers that have been weaponized to sow decent among the people in a way that keeps the general population so firmly at each other’s throats that they stop looking at the new age robber barons and people in power that are actually pulling the strings and chipping away at the foundations of everything…
If they don’t have to attract users for monetary gain and the customers have to/are forced to use their platform they don’t spend any money making them user friendly.
Outlook/Hotmail – Spam filters are the worst. My legitmate emails frequently get flagged, meanwhile, nearly every day I get multiple phishing/fake emails claiming I need to update my credit card for my Microsoft 365 subscription (I don’t have a subscription) or claiming it has my receipt for some Microsoft purchase (I haven’t bought anything from Microsoft in years). I mean, come on, can they at least identify their own stuff? Anyone else see the same?
MyBMW. Sucks.
My I don’t primary interaction with BMW every month is with BMW financial services, which does or does not interface with my BMW app. It’s so hard to find. Every time I get on the app, you’re trying to convince me to buy a new car.

Twitter
Microsoft Authenticator. Hands down
Say anything remotely right winged on this app and get downvoted to oblivion. They literally take away freedom of speech via the downvote option lol
Words with friends. The ads have become laughably long and excessive
Pornhubb

An unhealthy Reddit addiction
Sniffies. So many ads and flakes and the accuracy is poor.
Duolingo is pretty much shit now. It’s the worst-designed app when corporate AI greed took over
Twitter. Had to put a time limit on it because I realized I’d become very addicted. I still hit “ignore” every time the limit pops up. It’s a problem.
I can’t Ad block apps, they’re all shit.
Apple Music
blackboard. shit makes me miss highschool when we used google classroom.
Twitter and Bluesky…
Both of those apps are absolutely insane echo chambers that have been weaponized to sow decent among the people in a way that keeps the general population so firmly at each other’s throats that they stop looking at the new age robber barons and people in power that are actually pulling the strings and chipping away at the foundations of everything…
It’s absurd…

The internet as a whole. It’s all trash and ads now. AI is swiftly becoming garbage as well.
Disney+
Please explain why a multi-billion dollar company can’t make an app that doesn’t freak out every time the next episode tries to play…
Every single one of them whenever they do something I didn’t ask for and don’t want, mostly the phone. Intrusive, repulsive repetition of NOTHING.
Amazon Music.
Awful interface, frequently non-responsive and needs force-stopping, but only way to play music.
Anything government related.
If they don’t have to attract users for monetary gain and the customers have to/are forced to use their platform they don’t spend any money making them user friendly.
Same goes for most government websites.
Spotify. The CEO is pro-AI and extra conservative
explorer.exe
Weather Underground
Reddit and Twitter.
Washington Post – is a great app if it was developed by a middle school programming club, but….
Everything made by Adobe. If it wasn’t required by the company I work for, I’d never open one of their products again.
Weather Channel. One of the spammiest and unstable apps yet when I need it I need it
