I hate doing dishes because even when you’re caught up, you pretty much immediately need to do them again.
And fuck grocery shopping, why does nobody understand how to stay on one side of the aisle so folks can get through??? Feels like Mario Kart sometimes.

Putting clothes in the washing machine – Not bad
Moving clothes to the dryer- Easy peasy
Folding and putting the clothes away where they go- THE WORST!!
Scooping litter because it was never ending, but I invested in a litter robot years ago and it literally changed my life
I hate laundry because my washer/dryer are in my basement and I just hate carrying everything up and down.
I hate stopping to get gas lol it’s just so annoying to need one more stop when errands already take it out of me. The greatest gift to myself is when I remember to fill up before it becoming dire lol.
Frankly cleaning anything that looks exactly the same when I’m done. There is a lot of fulfillment in looking at a room after it’s tidy, or empty laundry bins etc.
But stuff like dusting or vacuuming where yes the load of dirt I dumped into the trash is gone from my home, but everything looks exactly the same after. It feels like I didn’t accomplish anything.
The funny thing is, I know the fact that I keep up with it is why a vacuum doesn’t change much. If I had let it go for six months and then cleaned, there would be a drastic, very rewarding visual difference. So my own responsibility is robbing me of my fulfillment 🤣🤣🤣
Taking the cans to the bottle depot.
They literally give me my money back and i still hate it with a passion.
I dunno if its a sensory thing but the sound of the cans clattering around in the bag while i’m driving and the sickly smell of the depot and how sticky everything is makes me absolutely detest the whole experience.
OP do you have click and collect in your area? Best thing ever! Just have to load the stuff into my car!
I hate folding clothes. It’s annoying. Luckily my bf does the laundry every week. I’ll do any chore except laundry.
Carrying the vacuum up and down the stairs
Blessed be the day I never have to scrub shower tile grout ever again.
I HATE washing dishes. The endless dishes, water getting everywhere, the smell of everything mixed together. Ugh so gross
Also I love grocery shopping. I hate putting it away
Vacuuming… but I have a husky so it’s thankless and never ending 😂
Nothing, my man does it. Glad to not clean toilets lol
Putting the clean clothes away. I dread it so so so much
Cleaning the tub – cleaning the far side involves some acrobatics + your shirt gets wet from leaning over the close side. bah.
Putting laundry away. I can wash it, I can dry it, but hot damn I CANNOT put it away. I now have a clean bin and a dirty bin, and a fair amount of shame.
Living by myself: nothing.
Other people: the bathroom. People are disgusting, I need to always have a private bathroom.
BASEBOARDS. And cleaning the gutters.
The never fucking ending cycle of feeding myself – decision making, shopping, fixing…. on never ending repeat.
Changing the bedsheets. It’s such a faff and I can never get it to fit the way it should.
Dusting. I hate every part of it. I hate moving everything and putting it all back, and I hate how quickly it gets dusty again. I live in a dusty desert climate, so it’s never ending. Part of why I pay for a housecleaning service weekly to biweekly is that they dust and they do a much better job than me.
And I made grocery shopping much easier on myself by using pickup and delivery services so I don’t hate it per se, but putting away groceries fully does not get the hate it deserves.
I also hate every part of washing dishes by hand and own very few items that can’t go in my dishwasher as a result.
With washing up the worst thing was the pain it caused me.
I have a chronic pain condition and leaning over the sink killed my back and my legs and physically washing up hurt my arms and neck.
The best thing my boyfriend ever bought me was a tabletop dishwasher 🥰
Not so much most hated but I end going in so many circles with the usual stuff (cooking, dishes, bathroom cleaning, vacuuming, laundry etc.) so much that I neglect the deep cleaning because I run out of steam.
I don’t mind washing the clothes, putting them in the dryer, and folding or hanging them. I will not put them away. That is my husband’s job because I HATE it. Same with dishes. I’ll load the dishwasher. I will not put dishes away. I hate everything about mowing the lawn (using the weedeater, actual mowing, edging, blowing off the porch and sidewalk). I pay a guy to do that for me.
All of it lol. I’m not very domestic 😂 and I don’t like any housework or chores. If I had to pick one probably dishes. Putting them in and out of the dishwasher is annoying. The cycle never ends.
I hate doing laundry because it takes 12 total flights of stairs due to the basement laundry
Definitly dishes. I hate hate hate the combination of a dirty dish, water, the sponge and the cleaner fluid. Thanks goddess my husband does the dishes.
Lawn care. I hate it with a passion but my lawn and yard are too small to pay for someone else to do.
My allergies wreck me. I’m sweaty and hot. And idk what I’m doing.
Cleaning the shower. We have a glass shower and I really feel like it should be spotless but I can’t get it that way. Infuriating.
Putting the dishes away after washing them. The kitchen is small. Things have to be carefully stacked and placed up on tall shelves that require a step stool to reach. And I have to either move quick before the baby starts crying to do dishes while baby wearing.
The grocery store is the worst. I hate people, the less I have to interact with the general public, the better. If I have to shop, I order my groceries for pickup or delivery. My partner also does the shopping and it’s the best. He knows how much I hate it.
Cleaning the pet hair out of the rug cleaner. I do the rugs annually. Walking on wet damp carpet while cleaning it is pretty awful too.
Washing the kitchen mats isn’t quite as bad, but they take FOREVER to dry. I soak/stomp them in the bath tub a few rounds, and then try to wring the water out by rolling up and stepping on it. Then put in the sun for 2 days and hope it doesn’t rain and reset the counter. (Spoiler – it always rains!)
I generally hate any tasks that you have to keep doing without progress.
So laundry, cleaning, and eating. All a chore.
I hate shopping, because it’s so stressful to find the right thing & spend money.
For me, the worst part of my most hated chore-laundry-is the folding. I don’t mind washing and drying, but folding feels like a never-ending puzzle, especially with all the socks that mysteriously disappear! And somehow, no matter how many times I do it, the laundry basket is always full again the next day. It’s like a chore that never truly ends
Toilets. I can’t stop gagging. I’ve gagged so hard I’ve thrown up. Good times! Also I will never clean a toilet where a man stands to pee. Men are kinda gross lol
Washing dishes by hand when the dishwasher is out. Absolutely hate it.
I hate doing the floors EVERY day. We have three dogs, so I have no choice… lots of hair.
Dusting. Because after I dust everything, it’s dusty again where I began.
Dishes. I don’t have a dishwasher and I feel like I could make a piece of toast and the sink is full again
Hair 🤮 (bathrooms)
I hate scrubbing any dish when said dish could have been easily cleaned with an easy rinse/soak.
It’s like god, please spare me another avoidable dishwashing task!
All chores. The fact that I have to keep doing them every few days/week/month. I already did them once, why do they keep coming back!
Vacuuming is fine…in an empty room. I hate picking up everything from the floor and moving furniture around in order to vacuum and mop!
I bough a small dishwasher (I live alone) to avoid doing dishes. I order groceries online to avoid supermakets.
I hate mopping the floors with a passion and I am looking for solutions to avoid this chore (I have 2 dogs and 3 cats who go from the yard in the house so it’s necessary). I’m also considering hiring someone to come once a week and do the vacuuming and mopping of the entire home, but I live in the middle of nowhere so it’s hard to find reasonable prices.
It’s also annoying to clean litter boxes, so I only use those during winter, when it’s too cold for the cats to go outside.
From the depths of my soul. 🗣️FUCK THEM DISHES.
Changing bed linen often breaks my nails. Hate it.
Also if I don’t mop the floor immediately after vacuuming, then when I do get round to it I need to vacuum all over again since it’s already dirty again.
Scrubbing shower ✌🏻🤪 stall and washing floors by hand on hands and knees!
