Someone I was really into at the time called me a sexy Indian stud. I liked it so much that it stayed with me and I’m typing it today after nearly 7years.
Nothing was said to me, but I (m) was walking through the village after work at night. I was 22. Id just been dumped and feeling awful about myself. Self esteem bottoming out. It was raining. I was soaked. And some dude walked by me and blatantly eye f#cked me. I remember being taken aback, but then was like..”I’m not into dudes, but a compliment is a compliment” and it turned my week around. I still think about it to this day.
him: you scare me |
me: why? |
him: you’re too real. you don’t have unrealistic views or goals, you take things as they are, you say things exactly, you aren’t afraid of reality. most of us out here are either lying to ourselves or going in blind. real is scary , but you don’t seem scared.
i remember getting off the phone and instantly writing it down, for some reason, that was the best thing i ever heard from a guy who liked me lmao
He said I love you to me in some Honduran Spanish. He didn’t know what it meant and stared blankly. He said, “it means I love you. It’s what my friends and I always said to each other back home. And we always meant it.” (Ok so maybe it was a friendship type of love he was expressing, but it gave me butterflies to hear it said in such a meaningful way.)
Hi baby you look like a queen today lmao ok imagine that being said in a very sexy, Egyptian accent though. it was at my old job so i acted like i didnt like it and told him to knock it off lol
A random man started chatting me up at a bar. We talked for a bit and and he said “I’ve never met a woman like you. I’d like to take you out to a steak dinner”. I was involved at the time and told him so but I always loved his old school approach.
I was on a first date and made some self depreciating joke about my brother being the better looking sibling and this woman looked at me and said “your last name must be Hemsworth”.
I was told i resemble the taboo love interest in a few dirty novels. Blonde mid length hair, hazel eyes, lightly tanned skin, strong jawline, small amount of facial hair, lightweight to middleweight athletic build, slightly scruffy from working on cars/motorcycles. I also have one arm completely tattoed and a few on my torso. That was one of, if not my all time favorite compliment ive ever recieved.
“You look so mean, but when you smile, it’s like someone turned on the colors of the world.”
It was from a random man in the store- I blushed, smiled and thanked him for the kind words. Thank you Sir
I don’t know if I would consider this as flirting, but I had gone to an uncle’s place far away from the city for a house warming ceremony and went out in the afternoon to check out the surroundings (there was a temple nearby that wasn’t maintained for centuries). As I was heading back, a woman and her daughter were about to walk past me when they stopped me. The woman asked me if I was married. I said no. She asked if I was looking to get married. I said no, and walked away. I was 25M at that time. I still think about it to this day.
I was walking across the street and I noticed a very attractive girl coming opposite of me as we got closer. It was obvious we were checking each other out. When we finally got within a couple of feet, we both busted out laughing cause it was so blatantly obvious of what we were both thinking!!!
One time I was out for a walk and a man walked up and was like “uh I love you… shit I’m sorry” after him nervous rambling for a few minutes he meant to say I love your dress. I had to tell him I’m engaged, but I thanked him so much because I felt bad. Poor guy😭😭 was very sweet haha
This is gonna be a little raw for me, since the breakup is still fresh. I think just showing active interest in someone is the most solid flirt. As an example, when the “new relationship energy” was high, I asked my ex what movie/show, book, and song/album would he recommend to me so I could get to know him better. He asked me for mine, and I recommended a movie that can be watched on YouTube. He was on a long train trip so he immediately watched it. There is a scene with a silly secret handshake, and he asked me if we could come up with a secret handshake together. It was just… cute. I miss the cute parts of him.

I’m sexy haha
“I like your phone”
You look GOOD! (The woman was 70 years old, but still made my day).
I’d be way too oblivious to know I was being flirted with
Girl on the shop counter when serving me literally just came out with “can I have your number?” I was totally thrown by it lol.
Me: So… how are you doing?
Them: “I’ve got a cute guy in front of me, so I’m doing pretty good”.
Made me feel like a king 🤴
I really can’t remember but it was in a grocery store and had something to do with peaches.

Muscle mommy. Makes me feel big and strong. I got a bit of muscle, especially my upper body so it made me feel real good.

“Don’t apologize…beautiful” – a man pushing 80 in the Trader Joe’s frozen aisle.
They called me an idiot. Nicest thing anyone’s ever said to me.

“you would be absolutely perfect if i could cut off your feet” – my partner, who dislikes my farm kid, decade old dancer feet.

“My my, aren’t you a very handsome fellow.” I heard being said seriously from a girl only 5 years older than my formerly 20 year old self.
Felt like I was in some 1960s romantic novel but she was very old-fashioned despite her age…
This girl once said I was handsome and had nice tattoos
People flirt with me?
When the hell did that happen?
Asking how my day was.
Nice arms
I lost my phone number, can I have yours?
Are you a star cause youre glowingg

That one did a lot for my self esteem.

“I see you’re drinking 1%. Is that because you think you’re fat? Cause you’re not. You could be drinking whole if you wanted to.”
