Well yeah, like all other feelings and emotions. It’s not something that science can easily explain or describe, it’s mysterious by nature.

I don’t quite get the question. All emotions are internal subjective personal experience rather than objectively measurable states, but that doesn’t mean it’s mystical or mysterious – each person’s experience of it is just subjective and personal and thus not really knowable to others.
It’s all hormones and choices. The “mystical element” is just science.
Sounds like something a teenager would think.

Mysterious, no. Intense love can, in my opinion, feel very mystical and spiritual, even if it is just our brains playing tricks on us.
