I work with children. My hair always had coconut oil, lavender, tree tea oil and rosemary as my way to ward off lice. So I guess that’s my signature scent.
I’m a vanilla girly. I start with Dove Shea butter and Vanilla body wash. I use EOS cashmere vanilla lotion, Bare Vanilla by VS lotion and body spray. I use Mod Vanilla by Ariana Grande, Good Girl by Carolina Herrara or YSL Black Opium. They are both sexy, warm smelling perfumes. I have so many good vanilla scents that are in constant rotation.
My boyfriend has an impressive collection of cologne. Every time I leave his place, I pick one and spray it on me. I also use his deodorant. Getting some confusing looks on the bus. Hah.
Elizabeth Taylor Perfumes…. I have many of them. I will only ever wear Elizabeth Taylor. 😂 I am a huge fan of hers and have been wearing her since I was in 3rd grade. My mom is also the exact same way and only wears Elizabeth Taylor.
Depending on weather and mood, but people around me recognize me from these:
Vanderbilt by Gloria Vanderbilt (since 1996)
Célebre by Avon (since 2007 maybe?)
Bohemian Romance by Betty Barclay (since 2020 but it is unfortunately rare to find, I am always on the hunt for it)
I gravitate towards musky/woody/spicy overall. My current daily perfume is Hexensalbe from Stora Skuggan, which is a wormwoody, herby, poisonous plant scent
The remainder of my small collection is:
Novocaine from Tokyomilk Dark (ginger, thai chili, frankincense, vanilla orchid)
A Tobacco Vanille dupe
Bad Reputation, a Joan Jett inspired scent (cherry cola and weed)
I’m Not A Vampire, which is like Tobacco Vanille with more ginger and depth
And one outlier of a peony and pink peppercorn scent
After years and years and years of using so many different fancy perfume, the one I get the most compliments on by far is the plain ol body fantasies vanilla.
I used to work in a big department store with a fragrance section. I picked for the online orders, so I was always walking around the store.
Every day, I would stop by the fragrances and spray some of the samples so I could smell all the different perfumes. After two years of doing this, I narrowed down what my favorite scents were.
I always got the most compliments when I wore beautiful magnolia. I just got complimented on it the other day!
It smells floral, but it’s got Some musky undertones that balance it out really well. The best way I can describe how it smells is just pretty. 😂

Chanel Cristalle, and Chanel Cristalle eau Verte. I’ve worn the Cristalle for years and recently discovered the eau Verte version, it’s a little deeper. I love both!
Interlude by Frances Denney. It hasn’t been made in decades. It was an oil based perfume and it was lovely. It was more of a winter scent since it was oil based.
I need to try some of the ones you’ve mentioned.
Has anyone tried the scent mentioned in the Janet Evanovich books? Stephanie Plum love interest Ranger’s scent?
It’s a mix of Cult + King’s herbaceous magical hair sprays and Britney Spears Fantasy.
