I don’t even notice anyone else’s fragrance but my husband’s, typically. I don’t like smelling someone’s fragrance when it’s overpowering, but that hardly ever happens to me.

I usually dislike smelling perfume on people if it’s too strong or it just doesn’t go well with them. other than that, i generally like all scents.
I should only smell your cologne/perfume if I am within 6 inches of you. If I can smell you from more than a foot away, I’ll be staying farther than that from you.
I like to smell perfume/cologne when I’m snuggling close with someone but not when I’m standing vaguely near them.
I despise the smell of perfume and cologne. My partner feels the same way. I bring masks when I travel in case someone near me on an airplane or bus is wearing perfume.
Appropriate: my boyfriend doesn’t wear cologne, but i still shove my whole face into his shirt anyway. Would also be appropriate to wear a LITTLE but to positive social gatherings.
Inappropriate: wearing lots of perfume to see a newborn baby, go to a wake, funeral, job interview, go to the office, meeting family for the first time.

I generally hate fragrances. However, one of my friends of over 30 years can get away with wearing cologne around me. Whatever brand he uses does not make me sneeze, and he doesn’t overdo it. He just smells good, especially at the end of the day when it’s mostly worn off. I know in high school he used Cool Waters. Whatever he uses now, it isn’t the cheap shit that makes my eyes water and my mouth taste like soap when I smell it.
I might be in the unpopular opinion here, I don’t mind when someone walks past me and they smell good. I think the only time I hate smelling other people’s perfume is if they smell unwashed and put on perfume to cover up the fact that they haven’t showered.
I love my smelling my husband – when he gets home from work, before we leave for a night out, rain or shine, day or night.
On everyone. We should all wear a spritz or two.
On myself. Have tons of different fragrances for the same reason. High end and budget varieties.
I feel everyone needs to adapt to wearing perfume especially those that belong to hot and arid climates. God forbid I have to stand next to someone in public transport and they smell.. Rotten, of sorts🤢
