When are your prime years?

r/

I recently turned 26 and each year on my birthday I do a video recap of the year. Ever since 24 years old I have felt like I am in my prime years. I do still think the best are yet to come but I am really enjoying my life currently as well. Learning a lot with my career, dating and experiencing different relationships, athletically/physically I have continued to perform better – stronger, faster, etc.

Asking men who have experienced more of life, when do you think you were truly in your prime years? And what did that mean or look like to you?

the height of my powers was my 40s. more money than ever, plenty of experience and wisdom, but enough strength and fitness to take some chances and get away with it.

Depends on what you mean by prime. Physical probably 20s, but 30s and 40s are better years cause you have more money and wisdom.

I’m 56…40s all the way to the present…physically I feel better than I ever have in my life. I have money. I know what I want. I don’t take any bullshit. I don’t care what other people think I’m wise and I’m competent. To be honest, your twenties and 30s are way overrated

I’m 33 and socially, 25 was the perfect year to me. Young but not a kid. Finished school and future was bright. Dating-wise I could easily date 21-30; so that was perfect. Mid to late 20s is a great time if your life is stable

I’m 32, but I’ve never imagined myself ever getting old. I kinda figured I would’ve died by now. So, now that I’m not dead, I don’t really know what to do with my extra time. That being said, I still feel like I’m 22.

Physical fitness is definitely the younger the better so likely 16-25, in terms of having your shit together 30s-40s. There’s a lot of dudes who don’t put in the work though and stay bums in their 30s when they should’ve been grinding in their 20s instead of partying and doing drugs.

Idk, gonna turn 58 this summer but the last 1.5yrs have been amazing! The yesr before that I had quad bypass and it was a bit rough. But if u stay young at mind, curious and keep growing as a person, life keeps getting better!

    • Physically: 25
    • Financially: now (30s)
    • Romantically: now (30s) (mostly in the sense that my relationship now is healthier than any I’ve had in my 20s)
    • Socially: late-20s was my sweet spot

You’ll have to define prime. When I was a teenager, I thought that I was in my prime. Then again from 20-27. And from 27 until now(34), I feel like I am in my prime. It’s strange lol
