I think a lot of people classify their first loves differently. I’ve read stories where some didn’t even date them/kiss them, they just had a crush on them from afar. So what do you consider your first love?
I personally consider mine to be on a deeper level, so I would say the first person I truly opened up to and told I love you (didn’t grow up affectionate, never said it.)
I ask this as well, because me and my boyfriend have mutually had one 3 month relationship as teenagers, but mutually don’t consider that our first love.

My first love was my first and only relationship. We got together when I was 15, and I fell head over heels for him. We’ve been together for 20 years now, and married for 15 of them.
First relationship was in high school. Really great guy, but I could tell there was something missing so we broke up after he left for college and I was a senior in high school still. I loved him, but not in the way that makes a lasting relationship. First actual love was another guy from high school who was 2 years older than me. Had been friends for years, but something changed during my freshman year of college. Loved him deeply, but we broke up after 3 years. No regrets though.
