6-8AM
Whenever I can fit it in. I’d like to do it in the afternoon, but I rarely have the time to do that.
depends on if I am working out at home or at the gym.
I do have a small home gym and will do it whenever basically, but if I go to the gym I prefer late evenings, hoping very few people are there
5:30am. If I don’t do it in the morning it doesn’t happen.
After work.
End of the evening, about 10-12pm. The gym is quiet, so no waiting for stuff, and it’s just dead time otherwise, watching shite TV.
Like to? Never.
But if I have to it’s in the evening, otherwise it’s a ruined day. Working out always leaves me feeling like shit.
I wake up at 3am, I’m at the gym by 4am, workout until 5.30 then go to work
Mornings. Start your day off right and it makes making healthy choices later in the day easier.
Recently switched to working out in the morning, thought I’d hate, but it’s awesome. Crazy energy during the day and I can actually sate my post workout hunger and rehydrate even better.
Any time after lunch. I feel stronger after a couple of meals and time to wakeup.
I work out mainly at night 6/7/8pm Seems to help me sleep much better also.
Whenever I can. But I prefer to early in the morning.
10pm. my face feels so swollen in the morn and i feel sludgy
A fast 10k run (and sauna) at 10pm is perfect for me.
AM before work. I get up, take my pre-workout, pack my work clothes and out the door! I take my protein shake in the car. I have a great system and it’s been working great for me.
6-7.30am If I have work that day, I will need to go to bed earlier in the evening as I will be tired. If it’s on a Saturday or Sunday 11-13:00
After work so usually between 5-7pm
When I used to go, it was immediately after work. We have a small fitness center here. I would punch out at 3pm and be in there until about 5pm. Always an hour (minimum) of a nice, brisk, slightly uphill walk on the treadmill. Fat guys don’t like running or jogging. LoL
Fasting morning workouts are my favorite.
Right when I get home.
Early morning. I find it the dopamine high gets my mindset to focus more on the positive for the rest of the day.
Back when I was much younger it was late at night during my pre-sleep wind down. I was doing sets during commercials on TV. Sadly I’ve fallen out of both habits. I still wake up early enough, but no motivation.
Usually in the evening or sometimes right after work if I need the energy boost. I have done the 5 am morning workouts and it was dreadful getting up and going every single time. Not a fan.
Weekdays; lifting at 4:30am. Followed by running. When life gets in the way, I workout after work.
Weekends, I start later and I run first at 6am. Then I lift. Otherwise I end up running to late in the morning and it’s too hot in Arizona at this time of year.
I’m a 5am workout type of guy. Wasn’t always, but I prefer it now before work
In the morning. That way I only need to take one shower.
I do it in the evenings, it’s way too easy for me to justify sleeping in to myself if I do it in the mornings.
FIRST THING IN THE MORNING!!!
Lunch time, by far the best time
after work. motivation
In the afternoon typically, 5-7pm. I lift heavy so it’s better when the body is warmed up after a day.
Prefer right after work but in all honesty if I was alone in life/nobody was worried about or waiting on me I would go for midnight ish
I wake at 4:30am for work. So unless I want to wake up earlier I work out after work.
I saw a reddit post that said “My workday isn’t done until I exercise,” and I like that. I like working out right after work. Releases any frustrations and stress I had. Helps me transition my day. Etc.
Personally, I would love to be able to have the schedule for a mid day workout. Sometimes I’ll go workout in the early afternoons on the weekends, but even that’s hard with how busy life has gotten.
As of now, I workout in the evenings from 5:30-7:30 then I’ll either pick up dinner on my way home or I’ll have something ready in the crockpot for me to come home to. It’s not ideal because it eats up my entire evening, but it’s better than no workout at all
6 am or as soon as possible when I wake up
My job requires me to be up anywhere from 4am-7am so I can’t most mornings. Usually too tired by the time I get home around 7-8pm.
So recently I’ve started doing ten pushups randomly through the day until I reach 100.
Sit ups too.
As early as possible
730am. Very few people in the gym and no one bothers me.
I prefer to workout close to lunchtime or dinnertime! The promise of a good post-workout meal makes training hard feel just a bit easier!
I’m the TOTAL opposite…
Mornings for me are a write-off, I prefer to use that time for sleeping and then slowly being able to take my time to get ready for the day ahead. Once I’m out of bed… sure I’m rested but it still takes me several hours of just low-key time to really get my energy levels up.
Working out AFTER work is something I look forward to, and it kinda helps me de-stress and just zone out. Plus, by the end of the a work day I’m often feeling super energetic and full of adrenaline… which I guess isn’t really the case for most people.
6 pm, after work
When I find the time. But usually after work around 5pm.
Evening around 4:30 pm. Ain’t no way that I can workout in the morning. It takes me an hour to get up and ready.
I work out between 9pm-11pm at the gym. Why? Because it is not crowded at that time. Also, I noticed that I used to catch colds more often when I went earlier when the gym was packed with people. Also, my work out time was longer if I went earlier because more people means more time to get your sets in. Also, in my case, I’m a night owl and evening works well for me. I think in the end you have to have discipline, consistency, and determination to stick with your traning program regardless of the time you go.
I don’t like to do it at all.
I have a small routine in the morning and then I try to get a bigger one in in the early evening
During the work week, I work out before work on Tuesdays and Fridays. Monday Wednesday and Thursday I’m after. I would work out before work every day, but I stay up late and don’t like getting up early
AROUND 5AM.
I prefer to workout midday but it’s whenever my work schedule allows tbh
usually around 1-2pm. though that might change with this new job…
Best is when I’m on the clock
In the mornings..because there’s too much shit to do durning the day; and it helps me sleep better in the evening
Early. I was in my home gym at 4:52 AM cranking up the tunes today. On weekdays when I ride my bike I’m generally rolling out by 6:15 AM. Weekends it’s the same if it’s hot, 8 at the latest when it’s colder. If I wait until the end of the day everything packs up – work, stress, family, etc, and I don’t do it.
I start at 5am. I never have the motivation in the evening.
I have to do 4:30-5am so that way I can shower and take care of my child while my wife gets ready for work. I found I won’t do it at the end of the day
I don’t like to. But typically after work around 6
5am, so I can do everything I want to do without people getting in the way.
Morning, otherwise it’s never getting done.
After work, around 5:30pm. I find it hard to really get into a workout in the morning when I have work and deadlines on my head. And then I can immediately go and eat a big protein filled dinner. I’m not a fan of eating a lot in the morning.
2am I have sleep issues lol.
The earlier the better. I have to get it out of the way first thing or it doesn’t get done
On days I don’t work, I like to go anywhere between 11 AM-2 PM. I feel awake and my most energetic this time of day, and there’s still daylight left after I’m done.
On days I work, I go right after work so 5:30-6.
I just can’t do the early morning workout. It feels like I’m still half asleep when trying to lift, and I don’t like to compromise my sleep to workout.
Either 11pm to 1am or 3am to 5am. Depending on sleep schedule.
I wish I could be an AM workout dude, so many benefits. I’ve tried for years, even in the military I hated it. After work generally, but that sucks too. Several times in my life I was a midnight workout guy, I kind of liked that. Gyms are a awesome at 1am.
First thing in the morning.
Early in the morning or immediately after work otherwise it doesn’t happen
Generally in the first half of the day, preferably before work on workdays. Usually around an hour or more after waking up, I’m no longer groggy and have a significant surplus of energy to devote to the session.
On the weekends timing isn’t that important, so usually it falls on the second half of the day.
These are just ideal times, usually i work out whenever possible.
I used to like to do it after work to clear my head and get into a different mood. Now I am too tired so I knock out first thing in the morning. Long walk, ride a bike, whatever.
Either early between 5:30-6:30 am or 8-9 pm after I’ve digested. Workout, shower and read a little then knock out.
My gym is across the street from my office, so I go at lunch time and sometimes after work if I’m too busy during the day.
First thing in the morning or wfh days during lunch
Usually after work, so about 6pm.
Evening, running is one of my favourite things to do so I look forward to it. It wasn’t always like that, k genuinely dreaded it when I started running so I used to like to get it done earlier.
8 PM, or often just before the gym closes.
When I’m able
