When I was 12, I grabbed a girl’s butt on the school bus as she walked by. She turned around and slapped me. Hard enough that I never did it again, and I learned a huge lesson about entitlement and personal space.
This was one of those times I believe it was entirely permissable.
Never, be the bigger person, revenge feels good but is bad for us in the long run, especially when it escalates to physical violence. Once you get violent, that’s when courts lose their empathy for you, and if that’s the case, you better get tough because there’s going to be some bigger and badder person who’ll want to do the same to you
If you’re level headed enough to know when it’s probably justified in your particular situation, you’re probably level headed enough to realize slapping someone is rarely a good idea in the long run for dozens of reasons
The people slapping and punching people are too dumb to ask questions. The people asking questions should be too smart to be throwing slaps and punching to solve problems.
I had a friend who sometimes hung out with me. We’d have a few beers while bullshitting and laughing about whatever. Then, one day, he got super racist on me.
I’m white, but it’s well-known to everyone who knows me that I’m anti-racist. I say that in the sense that I’m just not racist, but I actively work to fight against white supremacy.
This dude was drinking beers in my apartment, and out of nowhere, he goes off on a racist rant. At first, I tried to talk him out of it, but that didn’t work. He kept talking over me and saying racist shit about black Americans.
I bitch-slapped him. He got super offended and said he was leaving. I was like, yeah, that was the entire point.

When is it not?

After asking: “what did five fingers say to the face?”
If they disagree with me politically
If a midge lands on their face… ? You can just say you missed? 🤭
When you’re acting in a TV show or a movie.
When a mosquito lands on them.
When they ask you to do it.
When you’re prepared to be hit back
Well I guess it depends how much you like prison
I don’t know but if I saw him right now, he’d get bitch slapped for sure.
When they ask you to.
If you’re level headed enough to know when it’s probably justified in your particular situation, you’re probably level headed enough to realize slapping someone is rarely a good idea in the long run for dozens of reasons

When they slap you
When they agree that you may slap them, or in defence.
If you’re slapped first
When someone puts their hands on you.
When you’re playing slaps
On stage
Thursdays.
When they try to steal from you.
Morally, legally, or just for personal satisfaction?
Never
If they steal your ice cream.
Or call your mum a whore.
When you’re ready to face the consequences.
When challenging someone to a duel. Although I believe that slap must be with a white glove, not a hand.
