When you opened up to someone with positive results, what were the circumstances that encouraged you to do so?

It seems like society expects men to keep their difficulties to themselves. How were some of you able to finally feel seen?

We both share the bs we see with society these days, and we feel.safe to share our experiences without judgment or the typical “my pain is worse than yours”

I don’t give a fuck what society thinks. If men want to have their mental health taken seriously they need to start talking about it even when society says not to, cause that is how you change shit.

So the circumstances are, I felt like opening up emotionally. That’s it. If you react badly to it I just cut you off.

I can share with my family most of my issues. At least some of my family.

It’s not a matter of circumstance. It’s just easier. The fear is of the unknown, and once you’ve opened up enough, you kinda know how it may or may not pan out. And the benefits outweigh the risks. And the risks become less and less as time goes on, because you recover faster.
