I am very biased but I prefer the nightlife in Berlin over any other city. It is a lot more down to earth, dirty, sexual and wild. Clubs like Berghain, RSO, Sisyphos and the whole illegal rave scene just slaps
I might be biased but there were some incredible clubs and electronic music scene in Kyiv. Lots of great venues in underground, industrial spaces. Edgy, creative, but very open minded and welcoming at the same time.
Having compared them to the legendary places in Berlin, where there seemed to be a lot of unspoken rules you had to navigate, the ones in Kyiv felt a little more free and chill.
When I was younger, around 2000-2005, me and my friends often travelled south during weekends to party. We were really into the techno and rave scene here in Stockholm (which was really small at the time) so we sought after similar establishments. Even if every larger city we went two had one or maybe two good EDM clubs there was no city that even came close to Berlin in terms of clubs. Both the number of actually great clubs and atmosphere.
But that was twenty years ago, so don’t know if things have changed? Would be fun if more cities can challenge Berlin as Europes party city.

Belgrade and Berlin are great. Copenhagen in the weekends are brilliant too.
I’ve heard Manchester is lit too.

Tbilisi, Kyiv and Berlin are my top three cities in this category. Great clubs with the appropriate sound systems and DJs.
