In terms of beef quality there’s no other honest option than Argentina and Uruguay, but it’s not considered a party in the way it’s seen in north america, it’s a reunion where people seat at a table. In terms of party Brazilian barbecues are closer to that vibe.

Im not sure if the Argentinian version is any different but I like the Uruguayan asado from my experience.
Brazilian one is a close second.
The west coast does not have great asado culture because land is not really ideal for cattle like it is in the east coast.

Not an asado party per se, but i tried smoked pork in Bogota and it was phenomenal, can only imagine what a bbq party would be like.
