Had you asked a week ago, it would actually be the Musee de la Chartreuse in Douai, France, which contains a very interesting Greuze. Beat the Switzerland rush.
Right now, I want to drop everything, buy a one-way ticket and end up in Switzerland. I imagine standing somewhere among the Alps, where the air is so cold and clear that it makes my head spin, and everything around me is like a postcard: emerald valleys, turquoise lakes, and houses with red roofs buried in snow. Maybe it’s Lucerne with its wooden bridge and medieval facades? Or Interlaken, where you can glide over the glaciers?
P.S. And yes, I’m ready to sell half a garage for a ticket. I’m kidding… But not quite.
I’d go straight to the edge of the observable universe, the furthest point we can observe, where light from galaxies is just beginning its journey. It’s the ultimate frontier, full of mysteries like dark matter, dark energy, and the origin of everything, where time, space, and our understanding of the cosmos stretch beyond imagination.
What do you mean by “go” as a tourist or to actually immigrate and live there? For touring I would choose Japan, for living I would choose Netherlands because I just want a chill life, and that place seems pretty chill.
Denmark, I love their architecture and specifically the thatched roofs and their love for Skagen yellow, and pastries too. They’re also some of the friendliest people I’ve met.
New Zealand or Ireland. I love Kiwis and the Irish.
I wanna learn about Māori culture and experience it for myself and just skedaddle around the Irish countryside, too.
