Almost all over the continent there are two sports that rank #1: football, and in a minority of cases baseball (perhaps cricket if we add non-Spanish speaking caribbean countries). Which is number 2 then?

It’s volleyball in my country. I even played at school, It was fun.
I’m not sure, but after football, I think it’s volleyball in Brazil. Our volleyball teams, both male and female, are almost never weak (though lately, our women’s volleyball has performed better).
I’m not sure. The ones that are popular are tennis, and rugby I guess.
volleyball, but it’s a very very distant second
Basketball
I’m in doubt between Formula 1 and Volleyball.
Both traditional volleyball and beach volleyball, our female beach volleyball team won Gold last Olympics
It is either Baseball or Boxing in Mexico, both have established leagues and institutions, are seen by many and also practiced by many (Although you can make an argument for American Football, which while much less played and without a mexican league is second in terms of views on media and Basketball which while much less seen and again without a relevant national league, is played a lot in a casual way)
Tennis, chilean rodeo and Basketball probably.
Boxing or Baseball.
Rugby or Basketball
