Who had a good childhood and what did your parents do right?

I wanted to learn from other women what they appreciated from their childhood. Do you have good memories?
My mom would make little bunny footprints around the house with her thumb and flour for Easter morning. My dad and her would hide eggs all over the inside and outside of the home and we’d have to find our Easter baskets loaded with chocolate. They were all around great parents. They weren’t perfect but who is? What did your parents do overall or a small example? Now that we are coming of age as parents what do you hope to emulate?
