Head of state or politician, they’re different things in the UK.
I think Queen Elizabeth was beautiful when she was young. Unfortunately any further back than her and we veer into not having great (or any) photos of the monarch, lol. Paintings aren’t a great indicator of what they reallyyyyyy looked like.
Not head of state, and won’t be queen as she’s the second in line after her older sister, but princess Alexia of the Netherlands is known for her beauty. She’s got the Argentinian booty of her mother.
If I don’t count Czechoslovakia, then it’s obviously the current president, Petr Pavel.
Now if I do count Czechoslovakia, then I would argue it’s still Petr Pavel, but with the pretty hard competition from the 6th president, Antonín Novotný, who was the president from 1957 to 1968. The guy even had a nickname “schöne Toni” that was supposed to had come out of a competition held during the UN General Assembly in 1960 for the most handsome head of state, which Novotný supposedly won.
I want everyone to know that a relative of mine, a little South Tyrolean lady going on 90 years old, has a picture album full of newspaper cutouts of Emmanuel Macron.
Edit: yeah i know on paper the chancellor ranks below the president but the chancellor is the de facto most powerful official in Germany so I think he counts.
U.K’s head of state line suffers from inbreeding so…that’s a hinderance.
Many people claimed Henry VIII was physically attractive before he bloated out. And portraiture of him in his early adulthood suggests he was hot in his 20s.
Not head of state but head of government, Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte was quite handsome in his youth, and some women still go crazy over him. There’s even a well-known fan community on social media called Le Bimbe di Conte (Conte’s little girls), a name that likely plays into an ironic fetish dynamic
As Denmark is a monarchy our head of state is not a politician but the king (or queen in case of Margrethe the second).
Honestly judging by this distplay of portraits I think the best looking one would be the current Frederik 10. https://www.kongehuset.dk/monarkiet-i-danmark/kongerakken But it is arguably hard to tell exactly how the kings looked prior to photographs. As I suspect that the paintings were made according to the ideals of the time and not entirely accurate (at least I hope they are not…).
Somewhat related but the one that “got around” most is likely Christian 4. who had at least 23 children with at least 5 different women. At least two of those children born within the same 24 hours…
Maybe Stanisław II August, before being elected to the throne of Poland he was (in)famous for being the lover of Grand Duchess Catherine Alexeyevna, later known as russian empress Catherine the second.
The hottest Head of State is obviously Felipe VI (current King) but Pedro Sánchez is the hottest Head of Government he’s not called Mr. Handsome for nothing.
Finland and none of our presidents have been hot lol. But our previous PM Sanna Marin is obviously very attractive (as is the PM of my dreams Li Andersson).
Germany has a President who is the head of state. However, that’s not the person who you see at G7 summits etc. That would be the Chancellor, the head of government.
So I’ll answer for both.
Method: I looked at the pictures and imagined if these people would kiss me which one would I be the least repulsed by?

He lived in exile in Paris for years following his participation in the 1848-49 revolution and war of independence and was sentenced to death and hung in effigy in 1856. The socialites of Paris called him “le beau pendu” meaning “the handsome hanged man”. He was apparently considered very handsome in his era and his deep blue eyes were supposedly especially striking.
I don’t find French presidents or prime ministers (and I don’t remember all of them) who were particularly attractive, but Jacques Chirac was rather handsome when he was younger. Dominique de Villepin also had this dashing gentleman charm.
Well in my life time there’s only been 2 heads of state so on the flip of a coin I’d say Lizzie. Heads of government however and that would get interesting…

I don’t think we’ve had anyone this handsome since them. Just old guys that look like they’ve been abusing alcohol their entire lives. (I’m ready to have my opinion changed if you know better).

Otto Von Bismarck had a very solid moustache, but technically he wasn’t head of state, just acted as one.
I don’t know about heads of state, but former head of government Petre Roman is/was handsome. As for politicians, Andrei Baciu is hot.

By limiting the question to heads of state, you’ve excluded a lot of potential candidates.
