Why are all of the spaghetti meals that come with meatballs always so short on the meatballs? Are there any that come with LOTS of meatballs?

I love spaghetti and meatballs and eat a lot of spaghetti and meatballs meals (like the frozen, refrigerated and canned ones) but I really need one that’s LOADED with meatballs.

Make some! Meatballs are pretty easy on their own. That way you can make as many as you want. They’ll taste better too, as you’ll have complete control over what goes into them.

You can buy a bag of frozen meatballs. They are easy to warm up.

Have you considered making your own? Spaghetti is one of the easiest meals to cook, and meatballs aren’t especially difficult either. You don’t have to make your own fresh pasta and fly to Italy to get the right tomatoes and spices, just a box of spaghetti and a couple jars of meat sauce are good enough. The only thing you may have trouble with is the eggs for the meatballs since eggs are so expensive lately, but you can substitute for some other binder like applesauce (1/4 cup = 1 egg), mashed bananas (1/2 banana = 1 egg), or the liquid from canned chickpeas (3 tablespoons = 1 egg).

bagged frozen meatballs or just make them yourself. It’s like one of the easiest culinary things you can do. Will taste 100 times better than any canned thing you get. Plus you could cook a whole bunch off and freeze some for another time.

Here’s a pretty easy meatball recipe:

    – 1 lbs. ground beef (or whatever meat you wanna sub in)

    – 1 egg (or substitute as per my other reply)

    – 1/4 cup Panko breadcrumbs

    – 1/4 cup grated parmesan

    – seasonings to taste (onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning are good basic seasonings)

Preheat your oven to 400F/205C. Mix the ingredients together until homogenous; if it’s getting a bit dry you can also mix in a few tablespoons of milk or pasta water. Line a baking sheet with foil, roll the mixture into balls, put them on the sheet, and put them into the oven for about 10 minutes. Take them out, turn them, and bake them for another 10 minutes.

Cooking spaghetti is painfully easy. Just boil some water with a good few pinches of salt and put the spaghetti in. Instructions are gonna be on the box. Once it’s done, save a bit of the pasta water and strain the noodles in a colander or a strainer.

Once the pasta and the meatballs are both done, pour your sauce and meatballs into the pot with your strained noodles, mix it together, and simmer for 10 more minutes so all the flavors merge. Badda bing badda baspinga. Paskettsis and meatnuts. Enjoy.
