Why are people given the benefit of a doubt.

Hello Everyone.

My unpopular opinion is that .. we are giving adults way too much room for their behaviors. I feel like society as a whole has to constantly be held accountable for the things stupid people do.

This is a stupid example but it’s what I got: If you want to buy a new car but circumstances only allow you to enter the game as prey .. Why is your lack of knowledge someone else’s responsibility? If you have to buy a used car .. meaning you get a used car salesmen .. then where does the audacity come from? You’re buying a used car expecting Mercedes treatment. You’re buying a used car and then have the nerve to ask why the engines or tires aren’t brand new. If you’re too entitled to do your own research, you deserve to get played.

I think the entitlement of people who would not give the same behavior is atrocious. You’re not a good person. You’re not a nice person. You’re not a smart person. You wouldn’t go out of your way to help yourself much less someone else. Why do you deserve anything? Why should you get what you aren’t willing to give? You see something someone else has and instead of asking how that person acquired it you just think you’re entitled.

Everything isn’t for everybody. There are some of us out here who have busted our ass and jumped through all the hoops and climbed over all the obstacles to get where we are. Why do you automatically think you deserve the same?
Why should anyone hold your hand or help you through life? It seems like people wake up in the morning with an idea and instead of, you know, researching and preparing themselves .. they jump straight into the deep end and then it’s up to the rest of us to fix it.

Anyone else feel this way or am I just a rabid bitch?
