Why does it feel like men get so much criticism in female work environments? i swear it feels like i’m held to a completely different set of rules and standards

do any other guys feel this way? i feel like if ur a woman or an attractive man. you have a different set of rules.

idk if anyone feels this way. i feel like as a guy in a mostly women workspace i get SO much criticism. on a daily basis.

i could literally do anything and i hear a critique. i could be on my phone and be told to put it a way and then watch a female coworker do the same thing and nothing happens

it’s like as a man you are held to a completely different set of rules and it’s so exhausting

What environment are you in? Are you a peds nurse or a cashier at bath and body works?

Men in general are held to a different, higher social standard than women. Its even worse with women who have children, they’re essentially given free reign in some work places.

Worked in healthcare for over a decade with over 90% women.

    Didn’t experience this at all.

Then again I was good at my job and wasn’t an asshole to anyone, so….

Nope, don’t recall ever experiencing that when I was the only guy in a department full of women

Lol not only in the workplace, in life, have you notice that lines are pointless for woman? They just waltz i to the front. You need to exploit the gender bs feminism is allowing and say you’re gay and now you will be their leader congrats on the raise and popularity.

I was the only man in a 20-person department for part of my career. I feel like I was held to the same standard as everyone else, and I was also well-liked on an interpersonal level.

Only happens when you’re considered as not attractive by the women there
