Why is it okay for men to brag about their careers but not women?

I brag about my career all the time? It’s most of what I discuss when I meet someone, they usually have a lot of questions. I’ve never felt not allowed to talk about it.
You can brag about your career to me, I LOVE hearing about ambitious women and the cool things they’re doing in society.
I personally have never noticed this type of divide in my life. If you want to brag about your career, let us hear it.
