West Tennessee is almost exactly like Northern Alabama and Northern Mississippi and they are considered Deep South but West Tennessee isn’t. Why is that? It is especially weird when Georgia and South Carolina and I’ve even seen people consider Southern Arkansas be considered Deep South? But isn’t West Tennessee?
