They keep getting told by right wing influencers and pundits that they are the ones who should be in charge and should be given all the things (and things include women/girls), and when it doesn’t happen they get angry. Often because their parents haven’t taught them how to deal with disappointment or rejection.

i actually have respect for every man that resist conservative ideology, be it social or religious, its activly gooms them by saying to them that they are better, worth more and more complete humans, its really no suprise that so many men fall for it, its sad tho

Hey, i’ll try and give a serious answer from a mans perspective.
To preface what i’m about to say, i’m 45 y.o, cis man with kids and a good job from Sweden. I’ve improved my situation from growing up with one alcoholic and one mentally ill parent where we often hardly had food on the table. I’m fiscally and socially left, and a Swedish leftie to boot so on an American scale i guess that would make me some kind of super-commie.

There needs to be room at the left for all people , and you need a proper workers movement that makes people understand that corporations are NOT your friends. Us men are in a way simple creatures, we want something to strive for and unite around, and if the american left manages to do that framed as uniting against the corporations for your family, neighbours and friends i think that would help a lot. Give a guy pride in what he does to help your side and you’ve won him over.
There’s a serious cultural problem in America where profit, both personal and for corporations, are given way too much room in the discussion, and values, pride etc are missing entirely. Your left needs to be a team and invite everyone to the team. It feels like the left in the US has been intellectualized and much more focused on problematizing (is that even a word?) stuff than solving them. Saying to men that they’re a problem will not get them over to your side, simple as that. I understand where you’re coming from but if you want someone on your side that doesn’t feel like the way forward.
Give them a goal to strive towards instead. Focus on making them understand that corporations are fleecing all of you, the CEO’s are making millions upon millions while they die in poverty and that’s something that needs to be fixed.
From what i’ve seen and read, a lot of guys voted red because they felt like the left didnt want them and didn’t treat them right. So they saw no reason to vote blue.
Oh also a decent portion of them just voted right because they despised the left more, not because the right fit their interests more.
Democrats literally avoided the largest podcast in the world because it is popular among men, and they were worried it would damage their support from their base.
Donald Trump showed up to a black female event in forget the name of. He bombed hard. But the difference is he showed up.
It’s actually pretty simple. Donald Trump showed up. If you don’t like his policy you don’t vote for him. But if you don’t like the dems/Harris policy either. Maybe you just don’t vote.
The dems/Harris didn’t show up for white men. So if trump has stupid policies and Harris doesnt show up, then you vote for Trump.
How did Trump win? He got the same number of votes iirc. The dems got fewer votes with Harris than with Biden.

The world for young people is hard, a pandemic, everything more expensive, buying a house is impossible, AI stealing jobs, education is bad…
The old times looked better for white men, then social media comes in. The main reason why it could spread is social media, the algorithm will show young guys immediately right wing content, if they don’t want it, they have to actively work against it. And it will them that the women are at fault.
They feel emasculated by their mediocrity and instead of growing or changing in any way, they prefer to blame women, minorities and literally everyone else.
