I didn’t fucking ask to be born. Yet here I am, thrown into existence by people who just wanted to fuck or play house, and now I’m supposed to suffer through this life just because “it’s a gift”? Fuck that. If I never consented to being alive, I should absolutely have the right to check the fuck out. Cleanly, painlessly, legally. But no. We live in a world where people can pop out kids left and right without any qualifications, yet if I want to die peacefully, I have to roll the dice with some sketchy ass suicide method that could leave me drooling in a hospital bed or worse, trapped in a fucking wheelchair. That’s not freedom. That’s cruelty. Hanging? If it doesn’t snap your neck, you suffocate slowly or survive and end up brain damaged. Pills? Either you puke it all up or end up in an ER getting your stomach pumped. Guns aren’t even an option in a lot of countries. It’s like they want you to fail and suffer more. Why the fuck does society give more rights to potential life than to actual living people who are suffering? I’m done with the sugarcoating. If I want out, I should have the fucking option. No forced hospital stays, no therapists gaslighting me into “finding hope,” no judgment. Just a clean exit.
Legalize euthanasia. Let us reclaim the control we were never given. This life was never ours to begin with. We should at least get to decide how and when it ends.

I’m not giving you advice on how you should off yourself but a lot of people have experienced success in what you’re interested in by ODing.
I can relate to this so much. I used to be in this exact position. Wanting to die, but more afraid of failure than actual death. I understand you don’t want advice, so I won’t give any. I do wish the best for you OP.
Don’t wanna
They did in Canada
Because a alarming amount of pole would utilize it. Then people would start asking questions like
Why isn’t everyone having a good time?
And then they’d have to do something about it.
Which is what they really don’t want
Probably because human life is not someone’s right to take.
I can relate to this so fucking much. Canada legalized euthanasia, but I’m pretty sure it’s just for incurable illnesses and disabilities. I don’t know why it’s so fucking hard to die peacefully.
On a societal level accepting death as a legit way out of problems would lower the incentive to improve everyone’s life. Selfish people would exploit that. I understand your feelings on the matter though.
While I do agree with you that it should be legal,
killing yourself isn’t complex.
The average human generates $1.2m-$3.3m revenue within their lifetime, and spends it. That’s why.
Why are they always messing with youth in asia?
Posts like this are why tbh.
Euthanasia if ever legalized in countries like the UK or US needs to be for chronic patients, not the mentally ill. Legally and I’d argue morally someone with suicidal thoughts or depression just can’t consent to euthanasia. Their minds aren’t in a safe space to do so, even if that’s what they really want. And sometimes, what you want isn’t what you need.
For chronic patients or those that are on hospice or end of life care, I agree we should. If they have the mental capacity to consent prior and at any point in the process they can say “Changed my mind.” Then 100% I agree. There’s no reason that shouldn’t be legal. That’s the opposite side where it’s cruel not too.
My first statement about it being cruel for someone who’s mentally ill to be given euthanasia by the govt doesn’t mean I think they can “just get it over it.” Obviously not. And I can even agree for some that suicide idealization might not just be a passing feeling, but can stick with them for multiple years due to things like trauma and anxiety. But again, no one knows how they’ll feel 20 or 30 years from that moment. Current administrations will change, politics will change, there’s a lot of change one can’t necessarily see in the moment but that will happen. And is it really fair to that possible life, perhaps one with a stable financial situation, found family, one where someone is happy, that that opportunity be taken because they took their life?
Yeah, you can say it’s hypothetical. But still no one knows who they’re gonna be years from that moment or what will change. I think it’s troubling you seem to think therapists “gaslight” people. Maybe you just haven’t found the one for you. Again just my take, no disrespect I can see you’re going through a rough time and whatever you feel about this I hope it gets better for you.
you can’t really ask to be born lol
Because bad people who think they are actually good people will use it to get rid of people who cause inconvenience or expense to the rest of us.
This is legal in Canada. If anything, it’s not being highly utilized, but rather our courts have made it almost incentivized to offer in lieu of health care. People who can’t afford pills that could treat them are being granted the right to a dignified death, that’s just wrong, get the people the treatments to improve life!
You can feel the edgyness in this post.. its like walking into a hot topic at the mall lol 🍿
Too many workers would opt for it. Can’t have capitalists losing the labour force, you know?
If there anything I’ve learned recently it’s that a large amount of people, more than you think, actually want others to suffer.
It’s why our rules and laws are not kind.
I wish we gave more people more choices and chances at happiness.
I wish we had this and assisted suicide for terminal people, especially.
