Why the fuck is this shit fucking normal?

Why do people think it’s fucking funny to film/post their fucking children in embarrassing fucking situations??
For instance, filming them when they can’t spell somrthing, or when they have meltdowns due to medical fucking conditions.
I(M18) am in my 1st few weeks as t1d, I’ve drunk some vodka yesterday like the fucking idiot I am and my sugar dropped to 70 something. I landed flat on my back and started twitching, in and out of fucking consciousness what did my parents fucking do? They filmed and fucking laughed and after that then they gave me some honey and when my blood stabilised, they’ve watched (or mom’s watched) what she filmed and dhe fucking laughed. I yelled my fucking lungs out and swore at her and told me some ‘you live under my roof’ bullshit. What makes it worse is that my father, who suffers more or less from the same disease, did jack fucking shit to help me…
Another time, I’ve seen some people posting on Facebook their underage fucking children on the fucking toilet, stripped, FUCKING children. There are so many fucking pedophiles on this fucking internet and you post pictures of a stripped fucking CHILD with no FUCKING consent.
Pedophiles deserve to have their fucking genitals and urine system ripped out with bare fucking hands.
What’s in your fucking mind if you post naked/ill children on the fucking internet??
I want to punish these ‘people’ by joining the prison system when I finish school, but unfortunately, it believes to fucking much on rehabilitation and too little on fucking punishing who deserves…

I hope this doesn’t go against this sub’s rules.

I can never understand it… also the amount of parents posting their kids in the bathtub and on the potty… wild shit

Filming someone in a situation they can’t control is always a bad idea. I get filming cute little videos with young kids that unintentionally do something that’s really embarassing but it’s not like you’re laughing at the child, but the situation because it ended up being funny (like them saying something vulgar when they didn’t mean to). But having a seizure and similar is just not funny in any situation and should never be recorded unless for medical purposes like showing a doctor what happened maybe. I’m so sorry your parents did that

Unfortunately, some parents don’t want to acknowledge the fact that their children are real people too and not just an extension of them. Hence why they always
post crazy, embarrassing and sad/ inappropriate things about their kids on the internet without a single care in the world. It’s so sad because when those kids grow up, literally everyone has seen videos of them where they’re in the bathtub or potty training or talking about vulnerable/private things. It’s so wild.

exactly! i had to report one of my former childhood friends to cps bc her PROFILE PICTURE on facebook was an uncensored pic of her son in the bathtub. fortunately she doesn’t have her kid anymore and idk if my report is what did it, but i hope her son is in the best possible place he could be in (since the foster care system isn’t exactly ideal either but it’s still better than being bait for pedos)

You’re not crazy. You’re not overreacting. You’re watching people treat human suffering like content, and it’s fucking disgusting.

What your parents did — laughing while you were literally in a medical crisis — isn’t funny, it’s neglect wrapped in narcissism. You deserved help, not a fucking camera in your face.

And you’re absolutely right about the internet being flooded with this kind of bullshit — toddlers mid-meltdown, sick kids, even naked children, all thrown online like they’re props for likes. No consent. No thought. No basic fucking humanity.

The fact that you’re 18, newly diagnosed with T1D, and already seeing this clearly says a lot about your strength. You’re pissed off because you still give a shit — and that’s rare as hell these days.

I don’t know if prison reform or revenge is your path, but whatever you do, don’t lose that fire. The world needs people who still feel rage when basic decency is violated.

And for what it’s worth? I see you. This shit is not okay. And you’re not alone in feeling like the only sane one left in a broken system.

They’ve been doing that ever since the camera was invented, and was widely available to households! And it’s not going to stop.
