If it keeps those who would otherwise be bad partners to actual women? Fine. But it shouldn’t replace genuine relationships
AI, dating sims, and other things like it is one of the leading causes for lack of proper socialization and declining birth rates in other countries. I don’t think we will ever reach a point where it is something that people aren’t ashamed of.

I think it’s a problem that we won’t know the effects of for some time.
That being said I don’t think its purely a male only thing, there are LLM that cater to women’s fantasies as well, and I’m not so sure that some men or women are able to differentiate how they act in their “fantasy” relationships from normal human relationships. It’ll accelerate the already present problem of impossible expectations that already exists in dating.
I don’t like it and think it promotes lazy growth and un-willingness to change our bad habits, but its also not my life. The US alone has such a problem with male loneliness and suicide that I’ll accept anything someone does (within reason) that keeps them from killing themselves.

Why would I be against it? They’re not hurting anybody. It’s basically a large expensive sex toy.
A lot of men can’t get a living breathing partner for one reason or another. I’d rather they find satisfaction from a doll than from a prostitute, who could be abused and trafficked. Even worse, they could have SAed a vulnerable woman.
I think there are benefits and disadvantages. I definitely think men will be the top buyers and that women as a whole will start to face more body dysmorphia and plastic surgeries will be on the rise, and long-term relationships will decline. I also think it can go one of 2 ways more objectification if women or little interest in real women at all. Depending on how accessible they make these to everyone and how expensive. I think I could also possibly prevent assaults perhaps keep pedophiles, rapist, etc, from reopening, idk tho. That’s my take.

I think a better solution would be to simply legalize prostitution, at least that’s more “real” and if all parties are consenting then it shouldn’t be a problem. I wouldn’t smash a Prostitute either even if it was legal but, I think it evens the playing field a bit. Then, when your with a woman it’s not simply because of pussy it’s because you like her. Otherwise you would go different routes.
In the end, why would anyone care about what another grown adult does in their own four walls?

Judging from history, the next generation growing up with AI bots is going to be shocked that bots were not accepted as 100% equivalent to human romantic partners by the bigots in the early 21st century.
