Women and girls are in danger in South Carolina!

r/

Senate Bill 323 (the “Unborn Child Protection Act”) has been introduced to South Carolina. Abortion would be banned with no exceptions for rape, incest or fatal fetal diagnoses. Abortion would be charged as homicide, carrying a 30 year prison sentence. Even some forms of birth control would be banned, such as IUDs, Plan B, or Opill.

Please do what you can to stop this from passing! Call your representatives, and tell other people about the bill. Even if you live out of state, call South Carolina’s representatives to voice your disapproval. A Senate hearing for the bill is scheduled for October 1st.

this S.B. 323 stuff is straight up bs. No exceptions at all? That’s harsh AF. Gov’t shouldn’t be dictatin’ a woman’s choices like that, feels like a 1984 plot gone wrong. And 30 years? Talk about draconian measures! We gotta make our voices heard against draconian BS like this. Lift yer phone, peeps. Blow those representative lines up!

What part of white Christian men want complete control of a woman’s body do people not understand?

These men know way more about your reproductive health than a woman ever could. They’ve scoured Fox News for at least 2 hours. They’re experts

If you have any business clout whatsoever write to the SC legislature and any local business partners and let them know your company will no longer authorize any non essential business or business travel in the state.

    Boycotts work.

That’s insane, if this bill were to pass then the punishment should go to the man as well that impregnated the woman. That’s ridiculous that the man can walk free while the woman has to bare the consequences alone.

This country is so messed up right now. It’s disgusting, sad, frustrating, and I worry that we won’t come back from this.

I hope every person crafting this bill and bills like it shits their pants so violently all day every day that they paint the state brown and red. That visual is less disgusting than this bill.

My love and condolences from Canada. Your country is truly fucked.

Not even birth control? And the men in this country are wining about women not wanting to date anymore. This is why.

At what point does the GOP just admit that their wanting to rape kids with no consequences is just part of their party’s legislative goals?

They don’t want women enjoying sex. They want them to only fuck if they’re trying to get pregnant. Are they going to make condoms mandatory?

They have to breed the natives if they’re not going to make up for the birthrate shortfall with immigration. Any woman who voted for the fascists either was too stupid to realise this, or another Jesus freak who wants to shit out kids in endless poverty and slavery.

I love my few rational male friends, but we do honestly need to shun and avoid all males in this environment. When pregnancy is a death sentence, YOU DO NOT HAVE SEX. Masturbation only.

They want us all to get knocked up all the time with no say in the matter whatsoever. Or else they want to force everyone to do anal. 4B makes more and more sense all the time.

Donald Trump got 58% of the vote in that state.

I think it is actually about killing the people who vote most strongly against the GOP.

    Black Women.

Mother mortality rates in Black women are by far the highest in the country. (Societal stress caused by racism, and unequal access to quality healthcare, being the two most cited factors)

Force them to carry a fetus to term in a bad situation (the ones in a good situation/wanted probably have better maternal outcomes), and opposition voters start to disappear.

My husband and I moved to South Carolina for law school back in 2018, and now we’re stuck here. I’m not risking having kids while we live in this hellhole. I want out 🥲

Time to leave South Carolina. If they wanted women to live there they wouldn’t treat them like this. Add it to Mr. Kirk’s plan to disenfranchise half of America. And men complain about being alone.

Surprise. The number of younger women choosing to elect sterilization is increasing because they are being pushed into a corner.
