He could be in a relationship or single and they would ask me if Im sleeping with him. They have male friends so why the hell do they think Im fucking every dude in the room? I couldnt even talk to my cousin without people sexualizing our relationship. They knew we were related too. One idiot asked me a would you rather question that pissed me off.
“Would you rather have sex with your cousin and no one knows or not have sex with you cousin but everyone thinks you had sex?”

Are you a person that they can associate with dating/hookup culture based on previous conversations? If so, perhaps that’s why.
Edit: just so we’re clear – in this case, they might just be making conversation, not slut shaming.
Otherwise, maybe you’re attractive to the point that their brains cannot comprehend you not sleeping with everyone you talk to, but I always thought men were much more likely to condition their minds that way and your issue is with women.
A curt “What the f*ck is wrong with you.” Curtails a lot of these questions. Or if that’s too vulgar a, “Why are you so obsessed with my private life?” Works too, and keep hounding them until they give you an answer that’s not “it’s a joke”.

MY DAD. It was my dad these people just assumed that because he stopped by to visit, obviously something had to be up. People always want to jump to the conclusions they want to and there isn’t much you can do about it. And sure I gave my dad a hug probably, openly too. But ew…it still grosses me out. He’s my dad. I should be able to give my dad a hug in public without people projecting their sick minds on my life. But they still do this.
