I do! It’s just still comfier than underwear lol. Mind you, this is only at home where I basically live in leggings. The trick is to have lots of leggings so you’re not re-wearing them with discharge crusties. That’s a good way to get a UTI or a yeast infection.
Outside, alas, I must leak into panties like a civilized person.
I usually only go comando when im lazing around the house or to bed, but I typically don’t have much discharge unless im ovulating, so those days I just wear undies all the time.
Ya do but you wash them. The reason i started it because i was tired of getting awamp crotch every summer. I tried all the sweat tricks, noyhing worked. The minute i went commando BAM it was better.Do i like the uptick in laundry? No. But for the freedom it brings i do not care.
I just don’t produce that much discharge? Maybe it’s because things are more aired out? Or maybe it’s just a quirk of my body. But the crotches of my pants/leggings aren’t terribly wet or gross at the end of the day.
I only wear underwear sometimes when my period is very heavy and I want to wear a pad and a tampon for extra protection from leaking. So a couple days a month if I even get my period every month. Haven’t worn underwear daily in years and don’t have discharge leaking out onto my pants. Maybe if I did have a lot of discharge I would wear underwear but I hope that never happens because I’ve gotten used to not wearing them and it’s much more comfortable for me personally
I wear leggings pretty much exclusively and just change them as needed. They usually last the whole day but sometimes I have to change them out midday if I do a lot of activity or my muff is weeping. Anyone asking if you wash your pants after a single wear, the answer is yesssss? I would even if I wore underwear.
I have more when I used to wear underwear.
I also used to get yeast infections galore when I wore underwear. Now no underwear no more infections ever again.
I’ve actually noticed I don’t get much discharge since I stopped wearing underwear I only wear them when I’m on my period or when I’m going out sometimes
Well I don’t do it often unless there’s an imbalance in the microbiota or a painful cyst, but I either swap my pants out once a day like I would with underwear, or I wear something that’s loose in the crotch area so it doesn’t directly touch my vulva or ass crack most of the time and change my pants less often
I don’t have much discharge and I wear different pants every day. I really hate wearing underwear and only wear it when I have my period (just in case)
I used to have a lot of discharge to the point that I would wear pantyliners everyday. An OBGYN told me to start going commando. Now I don’t have any buildup on my panties when I wear them. Took about a month or so.
You can lessen how much gets on them by staying hydrated (going more often means drying off more often). But it gets on the clothes unless wearing dresses. I used to make a lot of discharge and now that I don’t wear panties it seems like I make average. No idea why.
Leggings and several other items do have some of the bleaching effect (depends on the fabric). I don’t care because I am never in a position for someone to be looking straight up in between my legs to see such a tiny spot.
There’s discharge, I just wear pants thick enough that it doesn’t soak through. The only time it would soak through is when my partner is being mischievous.
When at home I wear some ultra soft mens boxers, flowy sleep shorts or sweat pants and I never have an issue with not wearing underwear. My body almost adjusts I guess? Also the level of discharge changed completely once I had a hysterectomy so that might play a factor in it now too.
The combo going commando at night + menstrual cups instead of pads have reduced my discharge to nothing, unless I’m ovulating.
I think I must’ve had bad “allergies” from the pads that would make me discharge for weeks after my period. After I stopped it and started using a menstrual cup, my discharge reduced a lot. I rushed to the gynecologist, but she said I was fine and it was okay not to discharge too much. My before was okay, and my after was also okay, it seems…
Since then I sometimes go commando a whole day (unless I’m ovulating), no problems. If I do get discharge on them, I put the clothes to wash and that’s pretty much it.
I used to go commando in my twenties, and would just wash my pants more, but I had an issue with the discharge I did have sometimes bleaching my clothes so dark leggings or jeans were ruined.
To save on replacements, I just went back to cotton undies and occasionally liners when my body decided to get spicy.
I’ve been told discharge is less bleaching the older you get, but I’m in my mid-thirties now and it’s still something that happens so we’ll see. 🤷♀️
I haven’t worn undies outside of hospital/ doctor appointments for decades and honestly my body adapted… certain times of the month I get a little mild discharge but honestly I only ever get actual discharge when I wear undies or super tight leggings. I find underwear extremely uncomfortable I will avoid it at all costs!
This whole thread has been so validating because I’ve seen this question asked before and I feel like it has not gone this way LOL.
I just wash my pants the same way I wash my underwear on the rare occasion I wear it. I live in leggings and if I’m wearing a dress I have bike shorts underneath, so I just toss them in the wash when I get home. Same as washing underwear!
Underwear is so uncomfortable for me so I really only put it on during my period.
Wait so many of you go commando? At some point years ago I got so annoyed by the discharge that I started wearing panty liners every day so I don’t stay “damp” down there for too long. I do try to sleep commando in soft pjs but going commando with the risk of discharge all day would be a sensory nightmare.
I don’t know, tbh. I just don’t. It’s really rare for me to see, unless I’m wearing a really tight bodysuit. I notice way more when I AM wearing underwear tbh. What’s up with that?
I will wear a thong everyday until I die. Don’t even notice it’s there and getting stuff on my pants sounds disgusting. Washing pants after every wear is also terrible for the environment
It’s worth it- super comfy, also because it fluctuates regularly, it’s a bit like a fun game of Russian roulette. Hehehe, carrying extra tissues/wipes helps too.
Not wearing underwear for years completely stops almost all discharge. Underwear is the problem and cause for a large percentage discharge for lots of people.
I wear leggings or shorts almost every day, because I work in the outdoor industry and don’t need to dress up. It’s so much more comfortable to go commando and helps me be more free and aired out down there. I do get discharge on them, I just probably wash them more often than one who wears underwear – every time I wear them they are a single-use wear.
I go commando unless I am expecting Aunt Flo or sexy times, I almost never get discharge on my pants but do on panties. I also just Winnie the Pooh it at home most of the time, so I let her breathe and don’t usually have discharge.

I don’t have a lot of discharge

Give it short amount of time and your bits change with fresh air and there’s next to nothing
It’s not really enough to get on things. I think it’s a lot more noticeable because you have underwear all up in the area.
Commando that just doesn’t happen.
I do get discharge on them ❤️
I got more discharge when I’d wear underwear. Since I’ve been going commando (even with jeans) I barely get any unless maybe when I’m ovulating.
You don’t. It’s just a thing that you get used to. I guess you could put a panty liner on your pants but… Thats a lot of work

Work pants? Never. Outside work fits? Sometimes. Depends on the bottoms and circumstances.
It just happens and then you wash your pants!

I do. But pants/shorts and underwear are both clothes. Who decided which is a more socially acceptable piece of clothing to get discharge on and why?
I don’t seem to have much, if any at all

I do I just don’t mind. Normal.

I only go commando when I sleep, wearing loose pants. I do get discharged sometimes.
I rarely have any discharge unless I’m ovulating. Even then, it’s only two days and I wear underwear.
I don’t manage😍

Get thin panty liners to put on the bottom of you leggings or do cotton undies to promote a good breathable environment.

Discharge happens. The quantity depends on where I am in the cycle.

All the luggage is in the suit case so to speak, so no rubbing and I get less discharge commando.

I wear dresses and skirts.
I’ve tried it once with shorts and it wasn’t for me. In dresses or skirts however… well, that’s an entirely different story and I love it.

Track the cycle and be with men that love my discharge- and I theirs

I envy all of you 😩
panty liner on ovulation days. but otherwise it just gets on them lol
I do. It’s just not a big deal. I don’t have a ton of discharge.
I don’t know, tbh. I just don’t. It’s really rare for me to see, unless I’m wearing a really tight bodysuit. I notice way more when I AM wearing underwear tbh. What’s up with that?
You do, you just wash your clothes…!
Sellotape my lips together
less discharge after going commando! it’s pretty cool how your body just knows and changes. it still happens of course, just wash your clothes lol.
I basically have little to no discharge in a given month. The only time I might get a little is around ovulation.
You just live with it. I however only do this in the house so it’s not that big of a deal.
Wait, is going commando beneficial ?
I just wear skirts and dresses. I only wear underwear with pants.
I usually wear a Light tampon when discharge is more than usual.
No, I don’t really produce much discharge. When I have small periods where I do, I just throw em in the wash as soon as I get home. No issues.
I got my uterus and cervix removed. Now i have pretty much no discharge.
Please do not think all discharge is bad. It’s actually quite normal. And it’s healthy for a woman to go commando as well. I do it at home though.
I wear a skirt.
I will wear a thong everyday until I die. Don’t even notice it’s there and getting stuff on my pants sounds disgusting. Washing pants after every wear is also terrible for the environment

what does this mean
If I’m wearing an oversized shirt and I’m home, then I’m most likely not wearing anything underneath
They do.
It’s worth it- super comfy, also because it fluctuates regularly, it’s a bit like a fun game of Russian roulette. Hehehe, carrying extra tissues/wipes helps too.
I might be broken, I don’t get discharge
I don’t get that much discharge it’s not a big deal.
Some of us don’t have or very little discharge
That’s just where it goes, idk 🤷🏻♀️.
I do, it doesn’t bother me much unless the amount is like I pissed in myself 💔
Liner on the seam.

My wife never wears underwear. She looked at me confused when I asked her this same question.
It’s called clitty litter.
My stuff is so dry from SSRI I haven’t worried about that
