i was a personal trainer for 16 years and then moved into social work after the fact. i had a wicked bad divorce and lost my passion to train clients. i still love the fitness industry but my heart isn’t in it as a profession. luckily i had 3 degrees so when i decided to change careers, i had the education to fall back on that i never utilized as a trainer. now i have a wonderful career in mental health/social work. i’m still a total gym rat, but i do it because i love working out, its not my job anymore
